Sure, one can win these individual skirmishes but still continue to lose the war... and quite frankly I don't think we have support of the police in our major cites and that is quite sad. The bozo on the United flight was wrong... but the image of him being dragged out completely defeated the fact that the law was technically being carried out.

Well I have taught US Army MPs and close quarters combat to Infantrymen. The technique he used is legitimate, though in my opinion not really necessary at the point in which it was used.

Jesus didn’t have long hair. The Bible says that Scripture can not be broken. What that means is that if Paul, a servant of Christ, said that it is shameful for a man to have long hair then it can’t be called right in another verse of the Bible. Jesus had short hair.
Samson had long hair because he was under the vow of the Nazarite which means he was not allowed to cut his hair so that he could live his life in a shameful condition without consideration for his appearance.

Looks like a classic case of mouth getting girl in big trouble. Had she played it cool she probably would have been let go with a warning.
I can only imagine what came out of her mouth just before she was body slammed. She might have been lighter than the officer realized and his adrenaline might have kicked in to boot.
When are people going to learn to just keep it zipped and do what the cop says? If there are complaints or other actions to be taken then they simply have to wait. Sue them, file complaints, say whatever, do whatever, but do it afterward not right then in the heat of the moment.
The fact is cops have extra rights to protect them by law because of the work they do. Society understands this and also understands there are some bad ones that sometimes need to be weeded out but not right then in the heat of the moment.

We all saw what we saw. There was no real "assault on a police officer" committed by the young redhead broad --that I could see. That officer was in no danger.
