No, rather the opposite. They feel safer knowing an armed professional is present to protect them.
The ACLU doesn't want American school children to be safe.
This Ping List is for all things pertaining to the 2nd Amendment.
FReepmail me if you want to be added to or deleted from the list.
I have an easy/fast rule in making up my mind on matters like this.
If the ACLU is against it. I’m for it. If they are for it - well, you know.
The ACLU is against any Americans including police having guns. They are concerned private or even police gun ownership will stand in the way of the glorious workers revolution which will unfortunately involve quite a bit of violence.
I agree with the headline.
Security personnel should buy their own firearms.
I want ccw teachers in schools provided they want to carry, have a locking holster with strap, have additional training and understand their
responsibilities in an armed intruder situation, and have school provided insurance coverage.
Of course i think anyone with a ccw should be allowed to carry in schools, on school property, on federali property, basically anywhere that does not have permanent metal detectors.
the ACLU can KMA.
The Paris police found out how useful unarmed police officers are in a shooting situation.
Don’t give guns to school police ONLY.
Arm the students!
“The American Civil Liberties Union does not want school police to be armed.”
Yet those hypocrites insist on armed guards to protect their headquarters lobby at 125 Broad Street in New York City.
ACLU needs to STFU ..... They are not welcome in my towns school.
My high school, Butler Area School District, 35 miles North of Pittsburgh does have armed security. i believe that we were the first in the nation to arm school security.
No incidents. The school is “Quad A”, which is to say it is rather large and has had no problems.
Our district does require that armed security is comprised of former police officers.
This is just the ACLU $#!++ing into their hand, and throwing it against the wall to see if it will stick.
In Pennsylvania, especially Western Pennsylvania, most homes have more guns than windows.
“Thankfully, these tragic situations are still rare in schools.
Rare enough that posting armed guards isn’t needed, but such a threat that stripping Americans of their gun rights is. Got it.
Decent kids feel safer, while thugs feel less safe. As usual, the ACLU is speaking for the thugs in society.
Aren't they in full throated throttle mode supporting abortion? That's killing more kids in one day than Columbine type shooters do in one decade!
Places of learning are not security zones or criminal justice institutions, Jordan writes, and they should not be staffed that way.
^ Obviously hasn’t seen the inside of one of the lovely ‘multicultural’ inner-city modern schools.
No matter how many gun free zones that lunatics and Muslims shoot up, liberals never learn.
No, let’s let only crazy psychopaths have guns in schools. /s
Alas, disarming police and ordering them to respond to a shooter with harsh language has proven ineffective.
