Normally when a comedy writer creates a viral tweet, it’s a small success. But that certainly wasn’t the case on Friday when Katie Rich fired off a quickly-deleted tweet that didn’t just divide people among political lines – it seemed to split the world of comedy as well.
Amid the ceremony and chatter taking place during Donald Trump’s inauguration, the Saturday Night Live writer tweeted....

Note that there was no monetary amount mentioned, just
“fly her to LA first class and giver her what my studio pays me”
No mention of how much, that is, exactly.
Just digital leftist virtue signaling.

“Ricky and Morty” notwithstanding (and his day to day involvement with that cartoon is reportedly somewhat minimal), Harmon can barely keep a show on the air. I’m not sure he’s in a position to offer anyone a job at anything.

I bet all the comedians supporting her, trying to justify it, would not think it was okay if I tracked down their minor children and started mocking them on the internet.
Of course, I wouldn’t do that to their kids, because
a) the kids don’t deserve it, even if their parents might
and
b) I at least have a modicum of class left
Big deal, nobody knew who she was before, now even fewer will. Maybe she screwed up and deserves a chance, who really cares? She apologized, so does this mean the people who applauded her cheap shot non-joke don’t like her anymore?

If the SNL writer does accept the offer, how do find out who advertises on that show?

I’m sure Harmon would’ve stood up and offered a job to her if she had said the same thing about Malia Obama...

None of them actually believe in honor and responsibility.
He apology is probably like that of Janet Reno, who took “full responsibility for the horrific and disastrous decisions at the Waco massacre, and never was punished one iota.
To a great many on the left an apology is just the words that I have to say to get me out of trouble.
It would be nice for someone to check to see if she is still at SNL in a month, or if she is working for Harmon.

Cartoon Network is in the same corporate family as CNN. Both are part of Turner, which in turn is owned by Time Warner, which is being bought by AT&T in a deal that the Trump Department of Justice should rule on in a couple of months.
