John Lewis Makes A Fool of Himself On Capitol Hill... by refusing to attend the 2017 Inauguration. Lewis is apparently outraged over the loss of his party leader's bid for the presidency. Although Donald J. Trump won thirty of the fifty states and more individual counties than any other U.S. president since President Reagan, Lewis has been unable to accept his party's defeat. Accepting an uncomfortable loss is a life experience that escapes John R. Lewis, a man of 76 years of age.
Lewis can be found declaring the President-Elect was not legitimately elected and promising to forego the Inauguration. Lewis has garnered media attention with his denial and denouncement of President-Elect Trump.
President-Elect Trump responded in tweets on Saturday:
“Congressman John Lewis should spend more time on fixing and helping his district, which is in horrible shape and falling apart (not to mention crime-infested) rather than falsely complaining about the election results. All talk, talk, talk – no action or results. Sad!”
It is noteworthy that Congressman Lewis has represented Georgia's 5th Congressional district since 1987. This area includes almost 75% of the city of Atlanta and about 60% of constituents are African American. Both crime and unemployment rates are much higher than national average. His district ranks a 2 on a scale of 100 within the Violent Crime Index, with 100 being the safest. Others have leapt to his support. Politicians, entertainers and other progressive supporters circled the wagons to defend Lewis. While more outspoken, Lewis is repeating an attitude shared by many sore-losers within his party. The attempt to delegitimize the Trump presidency began as soon as Democrat party leaders realized that Hillary Clinton had lost.
In collaboration with the media, Democrat leaders began demanding the U.S. Constitution be amended to favor the popular vote. Step two involved recounting 'cherry-picked' states to overturn election results. Step three involved threatening and protesting state electors and state governments to change their vote. Step four centered upon blaming Russian hackers. Hackers have been blamed for every mistake of Clinton's campaign except for the actual process of hacking.
Shortly after their political defeat, civil rights activists led by Rev Al Sharpton began scheduling a week of protests ahead of Mr Trump’s inauguration. Hundreds of protesters (both activist and paid recruits) have begun to march to the MLK Jr Memorial in Washington DC, chanting “No justice, no peace." Meanwhile, Lewis is appearing on talk shows stating, “I think the Russians participated in helping this man get elected,” he told NBC’s Meet the Press. “And they helped destroy the candidacy of Hillary Clinton.”
John Lewis has become the political poster child for sore losers and is taking the Democrat party down with him.
He did NOT make a fool of himself!
Lewis has ALWAYS been a fool and he was just exposing it. The democrats are fools too for putting him up to this garbage and thinking it would fly. They’re changing no one’s mind about Trump with it. Those that hate him still hate him and those that like him probably like him more now.
I guess the dumbshit dems don’t yet realize how sick and tired America is of this crap and how we’re through putting up with it. If we hadn’t had all we can take from the democrats then Hillary would be the president elect right now. She’s not and Trump is and they need a healthy dose of ‘Suck it up Buttercup’.

Lewis is very representative of the irrational behavior of all democrats after the Trump win.
They can’t face the reality of losing everything in Washington, including both houses of congress and the presidency and soon the U.S. Supreme Court.
They never really did care about local elections, since to them, all power is/was in Washington. They expected to rule over every state and city and county from Washington. Obama’s was their hope, and Hillary was the continuation of that idea.
Having lost “everything”, their only recourse was to try every way possible to get the election reversed, and when that didn’t work, they could only try to delegitimize Trump’s win.
Their main goal with all of delusional and irrational actions, was to create the narrative that, their ideas and ideology and policies, were never wrong. For people to start believing the opposite, would be the death knell of the democratic party. So, they need to do everything they can to stop Trump and republicans, and so, we see all of the irrational and radical behavior that’s going on now by democrats.
The collective “middle-finger” that America gave to liberals and democrats and progressives and socialist and communists, was too much for them to bear, so, what we are witnessing is the beginning of the end for democrats, but they still can’t allow the people to notice how out of touch they have been and how costly the last election was to their ideology and politics and ideas.
Hopefully, Trump won’t do anything to help democrats recover from the trouncing that Americans handed them on Nov 8.
MAGA, and good riddance to Hillary and Obama.
Rather than uniting behind a new presidency and looking for opportunity to improve Atlanta, Lewis looks to separate himself and be divisive.
His lack of etiquette and decorum speak volumes. It’s a shame his flock is unwillingly to see him for what he truly is, an overseer on the democrat planation.
My memory of the time says it was regularly hinted at. And the info that energized those discussions was hints, leaks, etc about commie links.
John Lewis is helping destroy Martin Luther King’s legacy.
“Judge a person by the color of his character, not that of his skin.”
And Lewis has been a flaming supporter of Hillary. How’s that for the absolute criminal instead of a real leader like Trump.
Lewis and his ilk have made a mockery of Martin Luther King’s legacy by supporting absolute crooks and do-nothings who posture and do nothing for their own people living in dens of crime.

I was young at the time but it was a regular huge discussion that King had Soviet ties. Proving now that he did NOT is not the issue. The issue is whether the IC used leaks and innuendo to plant doubt and manipulate thinking. Exactly what is being done to Trump. And Lewis forgets or approves of that same tactic.
