Are They Planning To Use ‘Russian Interference’ As An Excuse To Invalidate Trump’s Election Victory?
The Economic Collapse ^ | 12/11/16 | Michael Snyder

It has been said that nothing happens by accident in politics, and it is certainly no accident that Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, members of the U.S. Senate and the mainstream media are all suddenly buzzing about “Russian hacking” and “Russian interference” in our elections.  Over the past 48 hours, the Washington Post, the New York Times, and just about every other major news source in America has been breathlessly telling us that the CIA has concluded that the Russians “intervened” in the presidential election with the specific goal of helping Donald Trump win.  The implication is that if the Russian interference was significant enough, it could have “unfairly” altered the outcome of the election and thus Donald Trump’s victory was not legitimate.  And if his victory was not legitimate, that opens up all sorts of possibilities for the Democrats.

For those that have been wondering if the establishment was going to attempt to steal the presidency away from Donald Trump before he can be inaugurated, we now appear to have our answer.

There are several ways that this could work, and we’ll take it one step at a time.

On Friday, we were suddenly assaulted with all sorts of headlines about how the U.S. intelligence community has concluded that the Russians interfered in the election and that they did so with the intention of helping Trump win.  The following example comes from CNBC

The electors are appointed, they vote in a week.

By the way, did you ever wonder why the Founders specified that they should vote in 13 (now 50) separate places?

They thought of EVERYTHING.

The only real foreign interference in our political process is George Soros and we know who’s side he’s on!

“They” may be but since no one cares what the media says it wnt work. Nothing will work. They couldn’t successfully lie about candidate Trump so they certainly won’t have a chance against President Trump.

When there were 13, the telegraph had not been invented, not to mention the internet.

That being said, there is no reason to have electors. No worms such as Christopher Suprun!

The vote should be by Congressional District. One electoral vote per CD, plus the two extra for winning the majority of a state's CDs, or the state's popular vote in the event of a tie in CDs. Such a scheme would serve to contain vote fraud. And, being automatic, it would eliminate the need for the likes of Suprun.

The above modality of voting would preserve the regional imperative, while reducing the influence of urban cesspool states like California and New York (e.g., Trump probably would have gotten 15 EVs from California).

Senator John McCain, FACT: The president of the United States called on illegal immigrants to vote in this past election, where is the investigation or legislation for Voter IDs? Useful idiot.

It's being used as an excuse to go to war.

The US Government is actively recruiting THOUSANDS of "hackers" to go after Russia, China and other players starting an information war.

We'll be lucky if it remains an "information war."

They have to actually find evidence that is irrefutable. This is difficult because the email in which Podesta was phished is out there.

I would not want to be in a city when the food stopped coming in, and the power (and hence water) were cut off.

Useful? To whom? Certainly NOT to America. Merely an old fool living on past glories...if any.

The election is no longer the issue. Liberals have moved on to discredit Trump's mandate and legitimacy. With liberals you only need listen to what they are saying to know that their accusation against the Russians is the foil or cover to launch their illegitimate U.S. election discrediting operation. This is the MO of liberals, accuse someone, anyone, of doing exactly what they are guilty of doing. In this case, they are the ones, not the Russians, that need to be investigated for interfering in and trying to de-legitimize the U.S. presidential election.

They thought of EVERYTHING.

Too bad they didn't have the electronic communication we have now. They would have made Senators and Congressmen stay in their districts and discuss bills and vote right there via electronic means, without so much collusion
