Hiding Behind the Ingredients: Kellogg’s

I will not buy Kellogg products. In fact, I won’t buy ANYthing from those who are not “aligned with our values.”

BREITBART.com “DumpKelloggs: Breakfast Brand Blacklists Breitbart, Declares Hate for 45,000,000 Readers.”

#DumpKellogs

Hi kids. I’ve been eating Kellogg’s “cereal” for 70 years or more. Little did I know it appears to contain more apparent crap than a 1945 childrens’ chemistry set. Plus, they hate me.

Anyone who would eat a sugary snack for breakfast is to be pitied...

I bought some funky Pringles a couple of months ago and sent Kellogg an email to complain. They sent me a coupon for up to $5 for any single product from a number of their lines, and I intend to use it. After that, I’m done. The only thing I will miss are Keebler cookies.

I was actually impressed how they described why the Pringles were bad. They seemed interested in keeping their customers happy.

Oh well, I love(d) Kellogg’s products, but will NOT support companies that have the stupidity to use my money to sell politics.

Good grief, you idiots, where did you get your business degrees, Harvard?

STFU and make good breakfast cereal.

Anyone still consuming manufactured food products is ignorant of the realities...

I rarely eat brekkie, but if I’m having cold cereal I like Vector, with chocolate milk. Lots of instant energy, and the starch keeps me going until my high protein lunch.

Isn’t Vector made by Kellogg’s Canada?

I do not remember who said it but it may have been a former Surgeon General: “You can get more nutrition from eating the boxes than from eating the cereal,” or words to that effect. ;-)

I make homemade granola.

And mr. mm eats that almost every day, or bacon and eggs.

We haven’t had store bought breakfast cereal in YEARS.

Am I being too nice?

Is it true you're really pulling all your ads from Breitbart? My friends, I like your products, but frankly, this strikes me as being short sighted.

First, it just means I won't be seeing your ads. Your loss, not mine.

Second, it signals that an economic mini-war of some sort is going on, and people are going to be motivated to take sides Breitbart has millions of motivated readers / allies. We know how to find similar products made by your competitors. We know how to shop generic.

It is wrong of you to boycott Breitbart, because Breitbart is just a news/commentary site. It is not racist-sexist-antisemitic, etc, it is not beyond the pale.I and my friends go there every day.

These losses to to you are entirely avoidable. Please reconsider.

If you think I'm being too nice

... I would thoroughly enjoy reading YOUR message to them. Want to let us read over your shoulder?

They weren’t crispy and left a bad aftertaste. They explained why but I must have deleted the e-mail.

Whatever Pringles are they are NOT potato chips. They’re more like salty molded cardboard powder formed into wedges resembling potato chips.

I prefer CHOCOLATE FROSTED SUGAR BOMBS! They are sort of bland till you spoon more sugar on them.

Yah, that about says it all. I couldn’t resist a can for 99 cents but I’m finding that I can no longer tolerate processed food. Used to eat a lot of Kraft and Oscar Mayer products, but not any more. Same with store bought bread. Good bacon is hard to find and forget hot dogs of any stripe.

I agree. My kids get a couple of Pixie Sticks and a Mountain Dew in the morning. After all, it's the most important meal of the day!

Apparently it is. Oh well, I guess it’s back to Sunny Boy or Cream of Wheat for the rare breakfast I *DO* eat.

Carbs and sugar for breakfast. That’s a good idea.

I wish you were my mom! (LOL)

I had to eat oatmeal and drink my milk then wait for it to “come up”! Then I got to change my dress and go to school. Food allergies were not considered 80 years ago!

I was a Pet Milk baby after breastfeeding...there must have been a reason??? Yes, Pet Milk Babies were very FAT!
