Is this a trend in hunting?
Turns out this is a thing: bow hunting for ducks.
Duck hunting with a bow is a huge challenge. Shooting well with a bow like this duck hunter Tim Wells, takes a lot of practice. Its amazing to see him take out several birds while they were flying. Being able to shoot a bow well makes you appreciate having a shotgun. See him in action right here.

Back in the 50’s in Kansas, we had a river with a foot-bridge and weir. Dad shot fish with a bow. Arrows had strings to reel them back with fish. Prolly used a special head. I never got the archery bug.
