“Airline Pilot” caught my attention too.
5.56mm
I've been active, reserve and contractor; officer as well as enlisted. I'm also a pilot and have been a aerial photographer.
There are no winners here. But having said that, I've never been tempted to begin a critical opinion with "Son." Sometimes it's better to keep quiet. Real outstanding leaders know when to do this. Sounds like everybody was having a bad day, and the senior should have given that junior a break.
Let’s say the story is bull but I wanna have fun with it. Adding a new ending.
“They never found the body of the pilot in the cesspool”.
I didn’t know any airlines flew the C-130.
Beauty!!!
You young pups. Delta used to fly C-130s (they were labeled L-100s in commercial use). Pictures and more info here. https://www.deltamuseum.org/exhibits/delta-history/aircraft-by-type/turbo-prop/lockheed-l-100
A handful of commercial operators still do.
More here.

LOL! I just wanted to bring a smile, chuckle or laugh to everyone!
See my post 29 for a picture.
“Plus it was my experience that pilots were generally the most easy to get along with officers in the Farce”
I agree unless the base commander was also a pilot. Then you better have his special seat cushion and paint his tail letters with special paint.
My favorite was you need to scrub the plane because it helps the special radar absorbing paint.
Does ‘Air America’ (CIA) still exist?
Whoever wrote that headline is a moron.
“Airline Pilot”. “Air Force Soldier”
Contractors.... {CIA)
But it got me to belly laugh so who cares? =)
Well, what do you know.
Did not know that. Thanks.
Wait one minute! The article starts out that it was a USAF C-130.
This story must be true! I have an email saying Andy Rooney and George Carlin confirmed it! After the Airman told off the “airline pilot”, he fell asleep, AND ONE OF HIS KIDNEYS WAS MISSING!
I was Security Police humping birds on the flight line early in my career so most of my exposure to officers/pilots was when they allowed me to take a latrine/warmup break in the Alert shack as they played cards. It was funny to see them try to cheat each other all the time. The worst were the Admin types, especially the Second Louys. Did have one jump me for having no line badge once when I was TDY to Kunson. Bluffed my way through it by convincing him that my Security Police shield was the only badge I needed. Moron.
Visited the link...yugely funny stuff...thanks.
