Westside?

No, I'm up by the airport.

Seriously though, thanks. And I didn't mean to completely negate the destruction. Yes, people are suffering. People did experience real damage. I was just channeling Shep Smith's "YOU'RE ALL GONNA DIE!!!" comments in my dismissive.

And there were a few moments last night when my house was making some funny noises and I was starting to get a bit nervous. It was my first real hurricane as a Florida transplant.

Why would anyone channel or even pay attention to that pole smoking POS?

Now that both have made a statement, that should be the last either speaks of it... unless Trump wants to take the gloves off and let loose on all of BJ’s and Hellary’s language and misdeeds. Unlike Hellary, his words didn’t kill anyone.

I’m a woman and what Trump said is nothing. Hellary is just jealous he never said she was hot. Seriously, jealousy has as much to do with it being released as some trumped up headline as her spiraling numbers.

The moderator will mention it in one of the “internet” questions when she will not be involved in the answer. That is, if it is brought up at all inside the debate. Mostly, it will be hammered on by the media mouthpieces, where Trump cannot react to it as effectively.

I find this silly and hard to believe. I will no longer be a registered Republican after the election.

When the storm hit Nassau, it jumped about 10 miles east, cutting the effect on shore by a large amount. Had it jogged back, or west instead, there would have been more flooding and much more wind. It was a storm worth evacuating for with the risk, but not at “We all gonna die” levels, except, perhaps, on some of the barrier islands.

Pence seems to know instinctively what to say. He is a good choice for VP. I know his performance in the debate swayed a lot of my wife’s friends to vote for him, as Palin did for McCain.

IMHO there are two ways this can play out. The one the democrats want is that Trump is abandoned by the GOP, he becomes progressively defensive, and his candidacy is relegated to the dustbins of history. The other scenario is that this results in Trump taking all the gloves off and throwing caution to the wind - with an all out no-holds-barred fight over the final month, with so much dirt being thrown around that the winner will be determined by who winds up less dirty. In that scenario, I don't see the Clintons coming out on top.

Exactly! I don't get all of this praise... look at Allen West's response.. THAT's how Pence should have handled it... West would have been a much bette VP... he would have forcefully defended Trump at the Debate, here, and in the future... and taken the fight to Hillary, Obama, and the media..

Pence wants to stay above the fray and never gets his hands dirty.. he can learn a lot from West... he won the debate but allowed Trump to be attacked non-stop and all he did was shake his head... against conventional FR wisdom, I think he's a poor choice for VP... everyone should rally around Trump and change the narrative to the big picture, not feigning fake outrage!

Trump needs to have a series of fireside like program length chats with the voters the last two weeks of the campaign—a chance to really project his personality, sincerity and principles.

Like obama, who never takes the blame, but puts it on everyone else, hillary will not be the one to bring it up.. the question will be assigned to another....but you know they will have the audience stacked and I do mean stacked.. against Trump.. if they do nothing else in debate prep, they had better tell him to not put up with the lethal bias they are going to throw at him.. he’d better not take the “caught in the act” acquiescent Trump.. he has to come on and call them what they are.. a bunch of biased childish actors who are just trying to take him out and it won’t work. to recognize their antics and call them on it... will make it less lethal.

This is getting so old.. to fight all of city hall and all those in it at the same time. Trump has had it thrown at him... heavy stuff!
