RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - It's a canvass of contempt that spares few. Democratic voters may want to take a detour around the corner of 25th and Cedar Streets, after a man covered much of his century-old home in scornful spray paint.
The two-story tableau takes on left-leaning politicians, including Hillary Clinton, Tim Kaine and Terry McAuliffe. Dozens of demeaning phrases are painted from the ground to the roof, with Bill Clinton compared to Satan, D.C. described as Hades, and the Trump-Pence ticket, praised.

The above link was to video only at main site that was very slow today, I assume because of weather??
Here is a mobile link that had a short story besides the video
What do you think? Should this be illegal?? I know there is city code enforcement issues with Graffiti but this seems more like a free speech issue to me! Wondering, can people here legally paint their house purple with pink polka dots? Especially right now in an election season... I myself think its great, Just repaint the house mid November to "comply" with code and remove your political signs, I have NO problem with it.
Don't think he did himself, or Trump, any favors with this.
This is national news? Well, I guess if it can be spun to make Trump look bad, it qualifies.
I gotta go see this for myself. I live near enough to Richmond to check it out.
House is in an Historic district and the city says all changes to appearance must be approved ahead of time.
You are prominently displayed on that abode.
Do you suppose they’ll go after graffiti “artists” with the same fervor that they go after this guy?
No way, for one thing graffiti “artists” typically deface public places, i.e. overpasses and rail cars, and they generally are leftists.
Sounds like somebody was going to have to paint their house anyway, and decided to have a little fun beforehand. Wonder if the owner was forced to paint it? That would explain a little outrageous behavior.
House is either a freeper’s, or mudboy lives there.... See freepmail.
It looks like a bunch of graffiti. Kind of an eye sore.
I like it
Richmond is Graffiti ground zero. One Guy tagged the overpass on Rt. 95 north. Everyone wonders, “how the heck did he get up there”?
well I would say all the political signs are eye sores... Was going to look into who to call actually, still have signs up from primaries of people out of the running. We have construction on the corner and the way the sign is placed, I have almost got hit numerous times pulling out... and he has been lost his primary (against sheriff Joe)
now I see “Mudboy slim lives” to the right of RVA Freepers, now that you mention it, did not remember the name...
It was a story on the local Richmond TV station, not national news. Only national to the extent it was posted at this site.
I was in RVA yesterday. Had I know about this, I’d have gone to Church Hill to see it. He’ll repaint before there’s much the City of Richmond can actually do about it.
Yeah city of Phoenix has gotten real touchy with our historical district too, trying to clean it up.
I picked up a couple contractor clients that flip a house a year down there and always wants to change exterior things they cant and we redraw them a couple times to get them ok’d
Guess they are trying to bring back that old look, cant change roof lines or lots of visual things now that are more of a modern look, i.e. cant stucco over old brick houses..
