On Sunday, even after the FBI hinted the presence of a link to radical Islam, the panel on ABC’s This Week blamed the terrorist attack at a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida on heated election rhetoric and guns in America. “I think we all ought to pause with what happened in Orlando today,” stated ABC’s Matt Dowd when asked if third party candidates could gain supporters, “And if we understand that all of the hateful thoughts become hateful words become hateful actions.”
Dowd continued, “And now, maybe in the course of this, after what happened, the temperatures will go down and we, sort of, get back to a place where we can understand the common good.”
Republican strategist Kellyanne Conway then argued that America is in need of strong leadership. “But strong leadership, Kelly, is not about fear mongering and exploiting racial anxieties, and bigotry,” snapped The Nation editor Katrina Vanden Heuvel.
Heuvel had her own narrative to spin the deaths of the innocent for:
I think the, you know, grief and anger today, but we can't lose sight of senseless gun violence and the gun epidemic in this country....

Got it. Gay is now a race. Trump is obviously a racist. So therefore, Trumps hate for gays influenced the shooter. These people are clowns.
I have a hypothesis that liberals actually have faulty wiring in their brains. Just as the mis-wired empathy circuits in some psychopaths’ brains causes them to feel pleasure when witnessing another’s pain, liberals’ faulty wiring causes them to perceive rational thought as bizarre and incomprehensible.
Besides that, they have completely internalized the various narratives of the left to the point where they are incapable of examining any of their beliefs critically.
It really is best to just stay away from them.

I don’t. Not from what I have seen when dealing with people at work, in public, and in my neighborhood.
The people I deal with never mention any of the attacks in the past year or so. And if it does come up, the comment is “... wasn’t it just awful what happened.”
As for yesterday’s events, when I saw a couple of my neighbors and went out to some stores ... not a peep about the shooting.
The majority of “Americans” are forever asleep.
Do us all a favor, ABC, go kill yourselves.

It's still too early to tell the entire fallout from this mass terrorist attack by another Muslim that the authorities knew about and still it happened. Obama, Hillary and Sanders, liberal media, et. al. who are calling for more gun control are absolutely wrong in their political-oriented solution to another shooting event. No amount of gun control would have stopped this massacre in Orlando.
I believe that this evil act will vault Donald Trump into the presidency. People are fed up with the destruction of America and the hypocrisy of the liberals running the show now. His call for a ban on Muslims until authorities get a handle on the situation, will become the rallying cry for voters who see that Trump was prescient and correct.
And those Americans who are not still asleep at the switch of their country, will vote for him because they agree with him, political correctness, notwithstanding.
This is not about guns. It is about radical Islamic terrorism.
ABC might want to ask the father why because the dad did NOT say it was election rhetoric and guns in America. The why was because of something totally different.
What morons. It is hard to believe Heuvel believes the nonsense she sprouts. The club was a “gun free zone.” Unlikely the terrorist would have gone someplace where everybody was armed. If only one person had had a gun, there would’ve have been few victims.
Even challenged citizens are going to start questioning that one.
I would ask if these people needed to get whacked up the side of their heads to make them see.
