Newt Gingrich confirms that he's running for President in 2012 because you know he would never backtrack from a statement like this:
Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich said Wednesday he shouldn't have called Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor a racist, but said he was still concerned that she would bring bias to her decisions.

In a letter to supporters, the Georgia Republican said that his words had been "perhaps too strong and direct" last week when he called Sotomayor a reverse "racist," based on a 2001 speech in which she said she hoped the rulings of a "wise Latina" would be better than those of a white male without similar experiences. (I just stumbled across this and thought it gives some insight into the current situation)

That’s the problem when you don’t really believe in anything. You’re always backtracking to get to the point of least political pain.

Every time Newt starts to look appealing he blows it—now with Trump’s judge, previously with Sotomayer, etc. Both cases, judges biased against White Americans, both with discriminatory agendas.

So this article falls into the category "History", not the category "Current Events".
That is all.

There’s nothing “reverse” about racism just because it’s being practiced by a minority.

Reason #461 as to why Newt should not be Trump’s VP pick.

So this article falls into the category "History", not the category "Current Events".Actually, it falls perfectly into the category "Current Events," because it is a perfect retort to Newt's current comments criticizing Trump.

The “wise latino” disqualified herself the moment she uttered her racist inanity.

hahah, “Wise Latina”. That seems to suggest that her race may color her perspective. Shocking! Sure a man of Mexican decent can be a fair judge to Trump but if the judge is clearly NOT being fair it’s certainly fair to ponder if his position on Trump as a candidate for the presidency is coloring his judgement. Specifically as it relates to positions vise a vi Mexico.

Must have found out he's not getting the VP so he's going back to being a RINO.
To: dfwgator
Yeah, he just can’t be fully rehabilitated. Some PC has sunk in his mind too deeply.
