SiriusXM has suspended Glenn Beck's radio show after he and author Brad Thor fantasized about the assassination of Donald Trump on the air. It was a weird exchange - it sounded like the 2 of them were sharing an inner monologue that should never be spoken out loud, let alone on a live radio program in front of millions of people. Apparently SiriusXM agreed...

Thor said some “patriot” might have to stop Trump if nothing else could. Beck agreed.

Oh, that was established long ago, this is just an exclamation point on a long career of grandiose delusion.
I’ve never liked Beck. This is just more reinforcement for my opinion. I’ve read most of Thor’s books, but no more.
I see hearing a dissenting voice has sent the snowflakes into a dither, so I’ll explain”. First its no secret I am not a Trumpster (but he is the lesser of 2 evils and I will vote for him). I am also not a fan of Crazy Glenn. That being said, I think that in the first paragraph of the transcript below, Thor is talking about assasination. What everyone is skipping over is the second paragraph where he talks about the terrible position the American people will be in to get Trump out of office. THAT IS WHAT CRAZY GLENN IS RESPONDING TO AND AGREEING WITH (paragraph 3). You are now free to come out of your safe spaces.
“With the feckless, spineless Congress we have, who will stand in the way of Donald Trump overstepping his constitutional authority as President? If Congress won’t remove him from office, what patriot will step up and do that if, if, he oversteps his mandate as president, his constitutional-granted authority, I should say, as president.”
“If he oversteps that, how do we get him out of office? And I don’t think there is a legal means available. I think it will be a terrible, terrible position the American people will be in to get Trump out of office because you won’t be able to do it through Congress.”
“BECK: I would agree with you on that and I don’t think you actually have the voices we’ve been talking about and we’ve been talking about this off-air for a while. I think the voices like ours go away. I don’t think we are allowed – especially if things, and I believe the economy is going to go to crap, even if Jesus was in office. Suspend Beck permanently.

You are saying that Glenn is agreeing only with Thor's paragraph 2 in your post. Many of us have an alternative take; we see Glenn as agreeing with Thor's paragraphs 1 AND 2.
I personally take that position because Beck did not object to Thor's paragraph 1 comments.
By the way, that whole Thor-Beck conversation there was very reckless and stupid, but not criminal, IMHO.
There is absolutely nothing in Trump’s background that would lead a SANE person to worry about regarding the constitution.
Now we have had over 7 years of a POTUS ignoring the Constitution, and nobody including Beck talked of knocking Obama off, or the ramifications thereof. Beck needs to retire........to bedlam.

Not having heard the conversation in real time it is difficult to say whether beck is responding to the first, second or both paragraphs. I thought it was important to point out that there was a comment immediately preceeding Becks agreement that wasnt about assasination.
And you are free to go dissemble somewhere else
Brad Thor knows how to get himself some publicity, it seems.
