This is a battle to the death for the soul of America
The transgendered bathroom issue has typically elicited a tepid response from many on the Republican side of the aisle and among the more libertarian and economic types of conservatives, with the battle cry this is not the hill to die on! being echoed through the conservative camps, carried in Paul Revere fashion by many of the elites and the Sons of Libertine, who never seem to find any piece of real estate worthy of spilled blood. Still the question that must be asked is why isnt this the proper place to do battle? The misnamed transgenderism (really transvestism) is a direct frontal assault on America, on American values, on tradition, on our Judeo-Christian heritage, and on our fundamental definition of man and woman. If this hill isnt worth dying on what is?
The very fact that so many think letting men in womens clothing use womens restrooms (and dont think for a minute that predators wont understand that all they must do is don a wig in the old British fashion and they can play) shows how far America has declined in moral and ethical standards. But perhaps they dont understand the issue? There are reasons for this sudden outpouring of support for the very tiny transvestite community, and it serves a much more important purpose in the scheme of things than so many on our side realize.
It can’t be solved at congressional level. It must be solved in the homes and in the schools. It’s Ground Zero. They are trying to normalize rape.
I read through, still didn’t see where this was the hill to die on. I’m not letting my 4-year-old into a public bathroom by himself period, whether or not transsexuals might be allowed in there or not. If anyone things the little lady in a dress symbol attached to the door of a bathroom is going to keep their kids safe, they need their head examined.
“..who never seem to find any piece of real estate worthy of spilled blood.”
Regardless of the importance of the bathroom issue that quote is spot on.
They define it as “where will it pee?”
The reality is that the “gender identity” means mentally ill, biologically intact men often still attracted to women gain access to the women’s shower, changing room, locker room, saunas.
The mentally ill man (80%+ of trans) with male organs (fewer than 25% have the penis removed) gains access to the women’s dorm, the girls’ hotel rooms on school trips, the girl’s cabins on campouts.
And because the current Title 9 interpretation doesn’t require a formal diagnoses, a guy can say he’s gender-fluid, male today, female tomorrow, and get access to where your daughter is.
This new cultural enormity will only be repelled if enough women care about men using their sex exclusive areas. I think it is possible we might be at the point where enough women just don’t care.
Maybe because they have had it beat into them that men and women are the same, even with their sexual attractions, so they actually think that men who claim to be women are like lesbians. Or they just don’t realize the number of weirdos who will use this as an excuse to get their rocks off in women’s exclusive areas.
Every blue collar dem I talked to is aghast at the party leadership on this issue. But they were all men. I was shocked when Trump said what he said about it, but then I thought maybe he actually knows his women customers better than me.
We’ll see. Target will be a good indicator in a few months and become even clearer a few months after that.
Freegards
I keep coming back to the notion that the transgender bathroom issue is nothing but yet another red herring (something intended to be misleading or distracting). Designed to divert the attention of the masses from the imminent insoluble economic quagmire the US faces.
One way to smoke them out is to propose all around single stall bathrooms and one-at-a-time users.
Their response would be instructive.
That isn’t enough, because the DoJ has already sued a school district for saying the boy can use the girls’ locker room but has to change behind a curtain. In short, he didn’t feel like a girl unless able to stand naked, penis visible, in front of the girls.
I’m wondering what will happen when free bathroom laws come up against sexual harassment laws. You might have cases where men will exercise their bathroom rights but end up creating a hostile work environment and then get fired. Or Target might be inclusive over its bathrooms but end up being sued by employees who feel uncomfortable. These laws are actually in opposition to each other, and the result of liberals constantly making laws about everything.
Abortion, porn, contraception, public prayer, gay marriage, religious freedom. Etc. these were also battles for the soul of America - which the left and our soft-fascist nanny state seem to have won
Now it’s ok for boys to see girls parts and visa versa in the school locker room. How about when some boy exposes himself to a girl or visa versa outside of the school? Can he/she be charged with indecent exposure? If he/she is, I bet sooner or later one of them will lawyer up and beat it. After all, the President, a Harvard educated Lawyer, said the exposure was ok in school. How can it not be ok outside of school?
Of course, "theistic evolutionists" will never admit this.
