(excerpt)Under the Gun follows the families impacted by mass shootings in Newton, Aurora, Isla Vista and Tucson, as well as families who experience daily gun violence in Chicago."We don't really question people's right to buy and own guns," said Couric, 59. "We leave the Second Amendment as-is. But what we talk about is how can people buy and own guns responsibly. What measures can we put in place? This is not an anti-gun film, it's an anti-gun violence film. And everybody agrees that violence needs to be reduced."
The documentary also examines the power of the NRA and the difficulties politicians have in creating legislation.
“claiming a silent majority of gun owners want more gun control. “
Totally preposterous claim, no way it’s true.
What a maroon!
“I’m a Liberal. I can say anything and no one will dare question me.”
How many Courics does this story rate?
The stupid is strong with this one.
Gloves?
Well, duh!
Gun control is critical for anyone that wants to hit what they shoot at.
A good steady eye, squeeeezing the trigger, (one should be surprised when it goes off), hands in a good Weaver stance or a at least a good strong supported grip...all constitute gun control and will help you hit the target every time.
And of course...practice, practice, practice.
Katie should be complemented for her dedication to the shooting sports that led her to making a documentary about gun control.
Hmmm...I wonder what she shoots?
.
.
.(This fruitcake limousine-liberal old bat has no idea as to what she's talking about.)
Every gun owner I personally know wants more gun control too... But to me that means hitting what I am aiming at every single shot... I hate wasting bullets!
I’m not saying it is moral, but the only way these “News”/Hollywood types are going to get the message to stop attacking out rights is when some of them are bumped off.
Again, I’m not saying it’s right. I’m just saying that’s the only way and it is inevitable unless they smarten up soon.
Violence is violence. Does it matter what tool is used to commit violence? How many times is a gun used to prevent violence and save a life?
Katie Couric should think about putting down the crack pipe.
A silent majority of television viewers want Katie Couric sent to Siberia, in winter, sprayed with water and dropped into an icy lake.
And then nuked.
Presstitution Personified ...........Go to hell Couric.
I can see why so many DemocRAT-voting males are homosexuals. DemocRAT wymyn are all a bunch of nagging liars. That goes for “America’s Niece”.
She was hot 30 years ago now she’s just a leftist skank trying to be relevant again, if she ever was. Actually, she was always a leftist skank although she was kinda hot when she was a high school cheerleader.
Another vapid comment from the mouth of an utterly foolish female.
Guns do not cause violence. Violent people do.
You want to reduce violence; promote the nuclear family. The prime cause of violence is the lack of a father in the home of young males.
Fathers are the key to teaching young males to control their basic urges to lash out in anger.
Fathers are also the key to limiting unwed mothers. But that is another story.
