Sean Hannity Lashes Out at Paul Ryan, Says He’s ‘Not Ready’ to Support Him As Speaker Anymore
The Blaze ^ | 5/5/2016

Fox News Channel host Sean Hannity went after House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wisc.) Thursday, suggesting “we may need a new speaker” after the Wisconsin Republican announced that he was not yet ready to back presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump.

“I’m not ready to support Speaker Ryan anymore,” Hannity said at the outset of his show. “I’m thinking we may need a new speaker.”

A spokesperson for Ryan was not immediately available for comment to TheBlaze.

Earlier in the evening, Hannity went after Ryan in a string of tweets, saying it was “pathetic” to not get behind the presumptive nominee.

Agree! This is just another reason to believe that something against Trump will be attempted at the convention. Did you hear Speaker Ryan say on CNN that this was all new to them (Cruz/Kasich dropping out and Trump being the presumptive nominee) and that they didn’t expect it to happen so soon!!

I don’t trust any of them!

No doubt there will be a full court press for a contested convention.

I also think Ryan is pissed that Trump refuses to be controlled and won’t be following the RNC’s policy agenda that Paul Ryan developed with the intent of controlling the president to meet the donors’ demands.

Note to Paul Ryan - You won’t be pulling Trump’s strings when he becomes president. Trump will be following his own policy agenda, not yours.

Don’t watch Fox news anymore. If I did, Hannity and Greta would be the only ones I would watch.

Hannity is becoming heroic!!

Meanwhile in Rushland, crickets. What are the odds that tomorrow Rush defends Ryan and finds a way to criticize "the Trumpster" for failing to unify the party.

I believe you have got it right. It may not be definite, but they are definitely considering something like that, so he has to be flexible. Keep an eye on who selects delegates.

Hannity has been shilling for his pal Trump since last summer. Did he listen to what Ryan actually said: Trump has been making a lot of enemies while making friends. If he continued in the vein his has pursued, he cannot unite the party.

He has gotten beatings around here because of his lack of intelligence, critical thinking and his mantra of following talking points.

I personally think he has been trying out for the position of WH Press Secretary but that would be a big, big mistake. Tony Snow was successful from Fox because he was a really intelligent person and knew as well as could reason/tolerate the WH press. Hannity, with his NY bluster/temper would get massacred by the press.

I did not see this part of the Hannity show, but I did see the Reince Preibus part. Made me nostalgic for Michael Steele. When the Party National Chairman said out loud that he called Senator Cruz and got the answering service, but added "I will try again", he proved that he must have called a lot of girls when he was single but none of them could go out because they were washing their hair.

How long does Reince last?

Ryan is acting like a creep. This is a transparent attempt to extract concessions from Trump in return for this endorsement. Ryan basically made his endorsement useless today, if it wasn’t already.

These guys are amazing—demand that Trump “bring the party together” and then reneg on promises to support the nominee. To hell with Ryan, hope he loses his speakership and then his seat.

Ryan and Cruz never anticipated a Trump candidacy. They expected to pull off a Cruz presidency long before Trump entered the campaign. Buying delegates has always been their method to win.. a contested convention.

Thank you, Sean. Someone prominent needed to say what you did, and I am glad it was you.

How long do you think it will be before Ryan realizes that he is working for the people of the United States?

Folks know EXACTLY what Ryan said. It’s unacceptable. Ryan should not have to think about supporting his party’s only remaining candidate. What he’s doing enables crazy talk from others.

Take the Trail of Tears elsewhere.

This emotional ransom being demanded of TRUMP is a bridge too far.

Conceding the very ground that *earned” him his numbers, by vanquishing every single globalist contender, is no damn victory, therefore, neither TRUMP nor his supporters who put him in place, shall be found entertaining the hat in hand tour of apologies to the LOSERS.

The same can be said to the pouting, contentious anti-TRUMP grousers and grumblers of those same LOSERS.

Everyone needs to “breathe, baby, breathe”.

Trump has won the nomination. It behooves all loyal party members to support the winner of the party’s election process.

Who asked Ryan to dissent? Was it Willard or Jebbie?

Ryan as Speaker of the House has no business speaking out and should mind his own business, unless his business is getting himself, Mitt or Jeb nominated at the convention.

Sad to say, we would have been better off if Boehner were still in charge.

Ryan is despicable.
