Here's what Trump said:
“Leave it the way it is. North Carolina, what they’re going through with all the business that’s leaving, all of the strife — and this is on both sides. Leave it the way it is.” He continued, “There has been so little trouble. And the problem with what happened in North Carolina is the strife and the economic — I mean, the economic punishment that they’re taking.”
(1) Where exactly, did Trump stand up for the rights of male perverts and trannies to take a whiz or go #2 alongside with or do worse things to little girls and defenseless women?
(2) Does NC (and other states) not have existing laws that punish offenders who engage in sexual exploitation of children or lewd sexual activities in public restrooms?
All Trump is saying is that trannies, feminine men, perverts, sickos, etc have been using male or female bathrooms for eons and no one has batted an eye up until now, when it's an election year and leftist groups foolishly believe that they can create a Todd Akin-narrative to portray Republicans and conservatives as anti-transgendered or anti-discrimination or something - and right on cue you have Rafael Cruz and other gutless Republicans who didn't stand with the NC Governor on this or did jack squat when SCOTUS decreed homo marriage on all 50 states - yapping like Yorkshires and pathetically playing the Left's game.
Trump simply did not take the bait. He is saying that NC shouldn't have went through the hassle of making new law when existing laws and mores served just fine and violators would be punished under current law.
So now, Christian conservatives are angry and threatening to stay home in a snit because Trump didn't just state the obvious truth that biological men should use the Men's restroom and women should use the Women's restroom (And I wished he would have. BTW - I do NOT agree with Trump on this, but merely posting his reasoning behind his statement) and leftists are upset because they won't have a narrative to club Trump over the head with throughout the election.
Both sides lost, which is EXACTLY what Trump wanted.
Now hopefully, Trump can continue to talk about the real issues that matter and disregard these questions that are designed to alienate social conservative support from him.

He says because it’s too expensive to build new bathrooms. If he wasn’t a freaking liberal he would understand how lame that excuse is. All they have to do is go to the bathroom they are supposed to use. You don’t build new bathrooms for them, period!

what you just said has absolutely nothing to do with hte fact that the NE story ran nonstop here on FR for weeks- People are still bringing it up- and it wasn’t ted addressing the issue that caused it to be news here- there were threads run before Ted said anything on the issue- They were not pulled-
You are right, the NE issue was well monitored until Ted came out and blamed Trump for it.
Ted could have said it was BS and moved on, but he didn’t, he instead went out of his way to falsely accuse Trump of creating the story. That is how it got legs

Generally agree, but fact is the LGBT faction is pushing laws far enough to be a serious problem if not already. Yes we’ll generally ignore it, but when it’s formal policy defending penises in the women’s room instead of evicting them when it’s an issue, then we have to take a stand against rampant perversion. They’re willing to take it that far, so we must be willing to go farther to stop them - else they won’t stop.

I predict 8 years of Hillary and by the end she will have the votes to not leave. People need to let go of their egos and admit that Trump has flimflammed them and support the real conservative before it’s too late.

So, I guess according to Trump, when/if liberal companies basically intimidate states into accepting their social views on transgender and other issues, states should just roll over and abandon the prevalent beliefs of their people?

Nick, if Trump hadn't run, you'd be posting crap about how we need to vote for Jeb or some other RINO or else Hillary will win.
The most important thing that Trump has done was to destroy the Bush dynasty and Bush Republicanism.
This has only become an issue in the past year or so when the LBGT started pushing their agenda more aggressively after the gay marriage decision at SCOTUS. Two years ago nobody would have dreamed that people would be advocating the access to women’s locker rooms and bathrooms by perverted men.
Just because Trump sided with the LBGT and dems on this issue, don’t try and lay the blame on the House, conservatives, etc. More Trump contortions.
My simple Proposal.
Replace the Mens Room Sign with one that says “Vagina Free Zone”.
Change the Ladies Room Sign with one that says “Penis Free Zone”.
Those signs would carry the same weight as the “Gun Free Zone” Signs currently in use.
Simple, yet elegant.
