A few weeks back, with thinly disguised excitement, Rush Limbaugh told us the Republican Establishment was going to start an “All out 100 days of steady attacks” against Donald Trump. Oh they are going to “throw everything plus the kitchen sink at Trump” and finally destroy him, we were told in ominous tones.
Listening to this “friendly warning” directed at those of us who are Trump supporters was difficult; not because we believed Trump’s “conservative” enemies could actually hurt him, but because it was clear that Limbaugh really believed they could. He was pouring his credibility into the gutter to support a candidate who can’t get Republicans to vote for him and has therefore fallen back on lawyerly tricks to steal delegates.
Worse still, during the first week of the dreaded 100 days of attacks Limbaugh repeatedly told us that Ted Cruz’s “big Wisconsin victory” had given him momentum. Limbaugh then began making up numbers, telling us that Cruz had now “won” a series of primaries. It was sad to listen.
During week two of the dreaded 100 days of attacks on Trump, after the Colorado Disaster, Limbaugh sank deeper and deeper as he spent hours lecturing us on how honest the Colorado primary was even without voters.
Then came Wyoming, a state owned by Dick Cheney, Mister Establishment himself. Again Cruz won a BIG voterless victory. We can expect more of the same from Limbaugh this week.
So what has the GOPe accomplished so far in its epic 100 days of attacks on Trump?

Oh man, you are so right. I started with Rush in 1988 and have been with him, and all of his wives, side businesses, books, charities, drug problems, turtles on the beach, diets, golf lessons {I could still beat his fat ass and I'm 75 years old} and I have mostly loved the guy.
I had to get off of his program or go back to crack coke and Jack Black in copious amounts.
The man was pimping cruz and denying it and I couldn't take it.
I've been Rush {almost} free for several weeks and I'm much more mellow.
I'm playing better golf, {shot a 76 yesterday, easy course and chipped one in} going to Mass more often, slightly less cursing, very little drugs of any kind and my wife is even less of an irritant.
I try to listen, but at the first sign of his "let's lewinsky cruz and say we are not doing it" I'm gone.
I've already cancelled all of my subscriptions to 24/7, and the Monthly News Letter.
I dunno, but about the only think I can comfortably say is that I bet Ted Cruz ain’t there now.

Probably Rush needs a bunch of illegals to maintain his palace and property.
And the slander continues against good men who have dedicated their lives to conservatism. How sad.

I have listened to Rush since he was in Sacramento before he went national so we are talking over 30 years and to see him go into this dark area with Cruz saying...it’s the rules you know...
Well fine...I have rules too and when a TV or Radio guy jumps the shark as Rush has while touting the fact he won’t endorse. He all but has endorsed Cruz. So, off went Rush’s radio show. I checked a couple days later and he was still on same meme...so adios El Rushbo.

I’ve been listening to the local public radio station. They’re less biased - if you can imagine.
Also I’ve been listening on the internet to Howie Carr. He’s a Boston talk show host and he’s very funny. He knows a lot of dirt that the mainstream media never mentions. For example, yesterday he mentioned a story about JFK and Grace Kelly. I never knew they had a relationship.
I am in Afghanistan and they they don’t have many radio stations here. I regrettably bought a year of his podcast and am hoping it gets better after the primary.

Amen! We are listening to Alex Jones, who has mellowed, a little, but is still outraged by the NWO Establishment and is actually getting the word out about what is really going on.
