Speaker of the House Paul Ryan is heading up a National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) fundraiser in New York on April 25th. However, the venue of the fundraiser is raising some eyebrows:
For those who might not know, the Ricketts Family are the primary donors to a Super-PAC specifically created to block Donald Trump from winning the GOP nomination.
Billionaire family Joe and Marlene Ricketts, owners of the Chicago Cubs, have recently given $5,000,000.oo to Katie Packer who heads Our Principles PAC, an organization created exclusively to defeat Donald Trump. Katie Packer recently outlined what they are doing with the Ricketts money:
Moving forward, Our Principles PAC is organizing delegates and deploying a number of tactics with a goal of depriving Trump of as many delegates as possible in upcoming contests. OPP will focus on delegate wins, not individual state wins.
In addition, OPP will focus on states/districts electing unbound delegates to ensure those delegates are not supporting Trump on a first ballot and tracking candidates running for delegate in upcoming conventions to ensure that even if delegates are bound to Trump on early ballots, they move away on subsequent ballots. (link)
For Speaker Ryan to be heading up a fundraiser in the home of Donald Trumps primary financial opponent/antagonist speaks volumes to the intent of the Republican Party when it comes to a unity approach. This is not being tone-deaf, this is transparently by design.
Back in 2008 the term PUMA was coined due to party shenanigans and insider manipulative efforts intended to block voices within the Democrat party. PUMA stand for Party Unity My Ass.
The message being sent by Paul Ryan is clearly one of antagonism toward Mr. Trump as the frontrunner of the Republican party. In addition, it is not a leap to see how this may be correctly perceived as Ryan positioning himself to be the nominee if Donald Trump can be successfully blocked at the republican party convention.
This is quite a significant poke in the eye.

I echo Lulu's words: "I am amazed at how sanguine the so-called Conservatives are about the buying of the election by the donor class billionaires. They dont care who is elected; just that it isnt Donald Trump. The means dont matter. Dirty tricks dont matter. And they have no real loyalty to Cruz, either. Conservative forums are full of them. They are the real lo-fos very little knowledge and most dont want to know. And they think the Trump supporters are the Koolaid drinkers.'
Linda's words: Im pretty convinced that MOST OF THEM, on both sides of the aisle, work for the New World Order monstrosity. Those are the masters they serve and will always serve, no matter what their rhetoric. Thats why I admire Trump so much. Hes not just fighting the political class, but all of those monsters. Im really afraid for him, too.
And then there's this:

This comes immediately after Ryan spouts off about unifying the GOP. Time to clean the House and Senate. They all need to go!

Previews of what lies ahead for the convention. Just dub it the anti-Trump convention. But this takes the cake.

Trump as legal standing to sue and take over the defunct GOP party. He has legal standing to sue for their reneging on their contract they signed with Trump last year!

This kind of activity is the most outrageous way to spend PAC money.

The Cheap Labor Express owns the RNC/GOP.
Paul Ryan dances to their tune.
He needs to be Cantorized in the August primary before he can abandon the rule of law completely.

Remember: the GOP is a club, and we’re not in it. I think Trump is beginning to see just how ‘exclusive’ that club is.

My suggestion would be for Donald Trump to purchase tickets for the dinner and either attend himself, or send his people to represent his interests and see what exactly the discussion and establishment intent/tone therein consists of.
New York Congressman Chris Collins, who endorsed Trump, is also listed as a party attendee.

Of course Paul Ryan is supporting republicans and of course republicans are opposed to giving their party to a democrat. Sheesh - it is no conspiracy, no plot, not even corruption. You Trump supporters ought to take off the tin foil hats and lead your brains breath from time to time. Oh and yes everybody is out to get you! BWHAAA!

Right, I'm not buying anymore the laying on hands by dad in public family praying at the table act.
False in one, false in all. I don't sense the Spirit of God disenfranchising voters.
Trump is one of the most successful people in the world and for there to be a conspiracy by the supposedly unbiased GOP & Cruz does not scream out anything remotely Christian about it.

Our Principles:
- The citizens must not be allowed to elect a President that secures the borders and enforces the laws.
- Fraudulently documented foreigners and their employers must be exempt from our laws.
- Elections must be manipulated to continue the first two
