Actually, all of those statements were true. Trump bragged about his adultery in one of his books; he has quite openly talked about his support for the Clintons, and for Hillary in particular; and Trump was the one who coined the "New York Values" phrase in that 1999 interview that has been played over and over again.
Just because something is not favorable to your messiah doesn't make it a lie...
BigBobber said Trump was pro partial birth abortion.
I posted a link disputing that, as I do when anyone makes this spurious and deceitful statement.
In 1999 Donald Trump was 53 years old, nearly 10 years older than Ted Cruz is right now. Are you telling me 53 year-old Donnie was still forming his opinions on abortion and gun rights and whether he identified more with Democrats?
Talk about pitiful.

Trump invents the term New York values to defend his support for partial birth abortion, and when pro-life Cruz points this out he attacked by Trump supporters.
Stop trying to twist my words. I never said he was pro-partial birth abortion. I said he supported it. He said he would allow it and defended a women's right to "choose" this disgusting procedure. He made up an excuse about how "New York values" allows him to think this way. The video confirms everything Trump said. What Trump said was indefensible then and is indefensible now.
I was pointing out that after the Russert interview you used, Trump changed his position on partial birth abortion after learning more about the procedure.
To imply Trump supports partial birth abortion in untrue.
“But no, dammit, Trump had to go and hire the best man for the job.”
LOL! (I needed a good laugh. Thanks.)
The thief on the cross made his life-defining decision moments before his death. According to you, if he hadn’t done that before a certain age, it didn’t count.
Not a good analogy. Trump has said he doesn’t need to ask for forgiveness from God.
I reran the interview multiple times. It was only two minutes long, and WOW, this guy said a lot and wasted not a single word. In a few sort sentences he:
This guy is the epitome of "art of the deal". In Manafort, Trump has teamed with a true peer, a man of great gravitas and political skill.
Gee, Donald. Can you please appoint this guy as Secretary of State or Official Slayer of Chinese Dragons?!
An Emerson passage seems to fit:
Catching up on details of race after a week in the vortex ... will watch Manafort later. If you have links to the best of the interviews ... please send!
I keep remembering Trump telling us in his rallies, “ I know people that can made deals, good solid deals, you might not like them, but they know what they are doing” and when I listened to this guy, he is good, solid and did you watch his eyes...cocky Chris Cuomo knew he best not mess with him, and he didn’t...
Can you imagine a guy like this sitting there talking to the Chinese delegation? Or the Japanese Delegation, heck even the Mexican Cartel? Oh to be a fly on those walls!!!
V K, as far as I know there's only one interview with Manafort so far. Here's the link. HL27, don't know if you recall that Trump introduced Paul Ruffin was introduced at the special event for vets a couple months back. He's another one of Trump's roundtable Knights. |
I do remember him, he wasn’t as ‘deadly’ looking as Manafort, more of a ‘nice’ and then drop the 3000 ton bomb....sort of guy...rofl....
