Well Bob, Cruz supporters have been bragging how Cruz has all these moves, and all the best people, etc., and mocking Trump for not putting together a team that can best help him with the delegate situation at the convention.
Well, Trump is putting together his own team now. Why wouldn’t he hire the best person for the job? Just because he has run so far with tiny staff, nearly non-existent ground game? Should he sit on his hands while the establishment and Cruz all crow about how Trump hasn’t got the sense to hire the “right people”? Trump may be a brand new novice politician, but he isn’t a stupid man.

Here’s the rub. Trump supporters have been saying for months that ANY GOPe person associated with Cruz proves he’s the ultimate insider and has been his whole life.
So when Trump hires his own Dole-Ford-Bushes type insider we find that quite ironic. It’s TrumpLogic. When Donald does it it’s A-OKay. When Cruz does the exact same thing it proves he’s GOPe.
The campaign has entered a new phase and the best people money can buy will be helping Trump broker the deal of his lifetime, one that will save our Country.
It’s do or die (with Cruz) time and I have a feeling that the pieces of the puzzle are going to neatly come together.
Donald has been holding back his financial resources for the home stretch and it’s time to giddyup and lock this up so the cheats and liars won’t steal it.

Manafort is a lifelong GOPe lobbyist (Ford, Dole, the Bushes). He is now running Donnie’s campaign. Looks to me like Donnie is steering hard to the center/left to rescue his faltering campaign. Your thoughts?
