By now, everyone with an IQ above that of roofing tar has heard of the allegations of sexual infidelity by Sen. Ted Cruz (Cuban - TX (by way of Canada)).
I do not intend to review the entire timeline of this controversy, nor to engage in rumor mongering against Cruz, nor against Trump; still less to attribute the stories to any other candidate's campaign or shadow cabal or conspiracy.
I just wish to note that last night, Sen. Cruz held a press conference with Carly Fiorina (ex-CEO, Lucent) in which he was asked to affirm that he had never had an affair. But even as he hesitated before answering, Carly Fiorina interrupted. Quoting from the article:
Why do you all dance to Donald Trumps tune? she demanded to know of about 15 reporters in the room. Lets talk about the issues, please!
DailyMail.com directed the question a second time at Cruz when Fiorina had finished.
Senator Im sorry, this is a very serious question about your character, the second question came.
Will you just if the answer is, Yes, Ive always been faithful to my wife, can you just say so please?
His practised answer stuck to the more limited denial that the National Enquirer story was false, calling it complete garbage.
It is total lies, it was planted by Donald Trumps henchmen, and I dont think the people of Wisconsin or the people of America have any interest in tabloid trash.
A couple of things immediately came to mind.
1) Why is it another politician, and a female one at that, who is on the podium with him, instead of his wife?
2) Why does this female have to answer for him?
3) The reporter practically spoon fed him words to say to make the scandal go away. Why didn't he take the hint and the lifeline?
and finally...
4) why does his answer "...it was planned by Donald Trump's henchmen" remind me of Hillary and the Blue Dress?
It must be a vast Donald Trump conspiracy.
Really?
The Cruzniptions are finally over?
Hooray.
Baby face recognition is pretty subjective but what is NOT subjective is Heidi cancelling the scheduled campaign events.
The End is nigh.
Yep. The CEO of the media group that owns the National Enquirer is a long term buddy of Donald Trump. It doesn't matter if the story is true, it will be in supermarket checkout aisles all over, and the allegation alone is enough to do damage.
Truth isn't necessary, only damage. Stinking gossips.
Your remark was almost cute.
The only provable LIE is that Trump had nothing to do with any of this so Cruz lies when he claims otherwise.
The End is Nigh.
Or it could be a signal that she doesn't want to be bombarded with this dreck. Who would?
So you were not honest with her.
$500,000 buys a great deal of coverup and silence.
No, i lied through my teeth but felt so guilty it was the last time I cheated again, on anyone.
Donald has nothing to do with any of this. Rational people have pointed out all the problems with his response and details are coming out which are damning. I smell a rat.
Heidi’s cancellations mean the End is Nigh.
She wants nothing to do with facing reporters and who can blame her.
Wow, once again Trump comes out of a controversy strengthened.
Trump comes out unexamined, not strengthened. The spotlight stays on gossip, off the issues, and off Trump.
Well for 8 years the fallback for everything that goes wrong in this administration has been "It's Bush's fault".
Now everything that goes wrong for GOPe's or Cruzers is Trump's fault. Just a new version of the same old blame reassignment.
I’m pretty sure the latter. Has he even congratulated Trump and daughter on the birth of his new grandbaby?
Last I heard Cruz was tweeting a demand that Trump ‘debate me like a man’. It was one of those late night tweets - you know, like the ones he complains Trump likes to send.
I think you need to look at that baby again but look at Cruz today and look at that baby. The entire chin to nose is Cruz. I hope you are not losing your sight.
All I was saying is your point would have worked if you used trump or Kasick.
If Heidi is doing that, she’s destroying his campaign without saying a word.
