And Trump's surely helping the cause, with unhinged cheap-shot attacks on Heidi Cruz- when this woman is 10,000x times more impressive than unintelligible prop Melania Trump will ever be...
In a statewide Emerson College poll released today, Texas Senator Ted Cruz is not only leading Trump 36% to 35% in the upcoming primary, but Cruz is only trailing Hillary Clinton by one point in a hypothetical general election matchup, 46% to 45%.
In contrast, Trump is trailing both Clinton and her Democratic rival, Bernie Sanders, by the same 9-point margin of 47% to 38% in a potential general election match-up.
Let’s’ see your resume genius.
Here are the races remaining.

Allocation – All Democratic primary/caucus delegates are proportionally allocated. Republican primaries/caucuses are listed as Proportional (P), Winner-Take-All (WTA), or Winner-Take-Most (WTM).
Proportional – Delegates are awarded based on the percentage of the vote received by candidates, or some formulation of dividing up the delegates
Winner Take All – All delegates are given to the winner of the contest
Winner Take Most – Some delegates are reserved for the winner, some may be divided proportionally
Unbound – Delegates are not bound to a specific candidate and can support any candidate of their choosing, varies by state party
Type
Open– Voters may vote in either party primary but can choose only one
Closed – Only voters registered in their respective party may vote in the party primary
Mixed – A semi-open or semi-closed environment, unaffiliated voters can choose to vote in either primary or can switch registration the day of voting
Yeah yeah keep dreaming!
No not because of that. I know he never officially endorses anyone in primaries. In the case of Trump vs. Cruz he doesn’t need to the say the words. It is obvious to anyone that listens who he favors. There are sporadic snarky remarks about Trump, and that’s fine. Everyone is allowed their own choices. What’s even more glaring is his omission of anything boneheaded by Cruz. Rush said absolutely zero about the Waterloo sideshow. He also forever points out the protected status of the “religion” of peace without offering any possible solutions to combat it. Like stop calling it a religion. I guess to me he has just become stale.
Ted Cruz is the best Presidential Candidate since Ronald Reagan

Ted! is TOAST !

SEN.CRUZ WAS BORN IN CANADA TO A MOTHER WHO WAS A CANADIAN CITIZEN AT THE TIME OF HIS BIRTH.
He voted for Corker. There’s that.
For an evangelical Christian, Cruz is a dirty, disgusting, immoral, unethical, lying. POS.
Vlad.Putin is more ethical than Cruz.
Europe is so much smaller than the USA that it is no wonder people speak different languages. However, 5 different languages IS indeed impressive.
Speaking for myself, I speak two, but I can also speak fluent Bostonian, New Yorker, New Jerseyite, Southern, Minnesotan and Texan.
Then there is rumor of Ted! women -——
BREAKING NEWS: The National Enquirer claims Ted Cruz has had 5 mistresses: http://bit.ly/1S7GQAe
They've grown into a weird fawningly worshipful army of drones, begging to become serfs under his tyranny. They all speak in unison and praise him when he announces his intent to ignore the constitution.
Very few of us seem to have a natural immunity to this plague.
I dont like a guy who uses religion to get votes! That strikes me as being an radical ‘opportunist’.
If Trumps internals did not show somethings going on he would not be attacking Cruz’s wife claiming Cruz instructed that so called super PAC, which he knows is a lie, to smear his wife.
He is using his belicose delivered diversion which has been working ever since he got into thus deal to sweep the focus off what we really should be concerned with is his inconsistant positions. And he knows throwing that phoney charge against the wall will stick.
Just like he used that set up by the media of the pope left handed endorsement (which he never did) by attacking Trump two days before the South Carolina vote nobody talks about. If he had any principles at all and recongnized there is a serious attack on Christian dogma pushed by the left and they were using him to attack them. He would have apologized to the pope and lectured the press about conduct. But most importantly because he does not see it that, that is going on first of all, and it was usefull to getting his deal secondly. He exploited it.
I was troubled by that, too. However, I think that the author's basic premise is correct.
And, it's amazing to see how quickly and widespread the orange infection travels.
That's not enough for me. Tearing it down is the first part, building something better is the next part. I want a limited small government constitutional republic with a major strengthening of civil rights and individual liberty. Judging from Trumps history and statements, there is absolutely zero chance he will deliver that. Nada. None.
Trump will bring a powerful corporate/government alliance that tosses aside constitutional restraints in order "to get things done". He will grow the government exponentially in size and power in service to his personal vision of a "great again America" and his googly-eyed acolytes will cheer him on until that day they realize that Trump's idea of a Great America is more like a leftwing statist's dream than that of a constitutional conservative's vision, if they can even remember back to the long ago time when they actually considered themselves conservative.
But the final nail in the coffin for this country as we know it is a Clinton presidency. And youre okay with that?
No way . I will not vote for that scumbag lying b@stard.
NO, he is establishment.
No. Never. More revulsion factor than Romney.
This is madness. While I agree that stealing the election at the convention would be an unforgivable crime, if he wins it legitimately we should rally and back him. Period. This country is at a crossroads. If Clinton gets in office, the hard turn left will happen
no doubt about that. If we can get either Cruz or Trump in there, I think we can right the ship. Dont ruin that chance.
Well, thanks. Are you a writer? I have a friend, Mike, in Texas, who has just sold a fantasy series for a decent price. I have another friend, Bill, who had a #1 bestseller thriller (not fantasy, but apocalyptic kind of stuff).
The key in analyzing all this stuff-—that I think the GOPe blogger types actually know, but don’t want to admit-—is that Trump’s “negatives” are NOT the same kinds of “negatives” that attach to Hillary, for example. He’s primarily NOT viewed as a political figure but as a celebrity, so like other celebrities (J. R. Ewing/Larry Hagman; Richard Petty; the Undertaker; Charlie Sheen) he can have high “unfavorables” that pertain to his “persona” or character and have nothing to do with whether people vote for him or buy the action toy (Undertaker) or go to his races (Petty) or watch the shows (Hagman, Sneen).
Sorting that out is one of the keys to this election. Now, I could be wrong. We’ll see. But so far the votes (yes, they are primaries, but still . . ..) do NOT support this view.
Sorry, I said early on that I would not vote for an establishment open borders globalist candidate ever again.
Cruz has proved that he is one. He can no longer be trusted to close borders or anything that he has lied to people about to get votes.
I have always voted, but this is my turn to say “It is over”.
People stayed home in 2012. I can do the same.
