For me it's quite simple. There are no fingerprints of Donald's on US policy or regulations over the 70 years of his life and he claims to want to change them. I want to see him have the chance. The others have spent their entire adult life making sure the FedGov further entrenches the oligarchy. I want them ousted. It really isn't any deeper than that. We are at the precipice grasping for that last tenuous hold before plunging headlong into globalism and complete surrender of sovereignty and freedom.
I completely understand the desire to upset the apple cart and toss off the entrenched bad apples. That's the easy part. What I don't understand is the selection of an east coast liberal silver spoon amoral megalomaniac reality television clown as the orange agent of that change. It seems to me that he was anointed because he had the biggest megaphone and some genuinely clever quips to toss at the sacred cows of the left.
That's not enough for me. Tearing it down is the first part, building something better is the next part. I want a limited small government constitutional republic with a major strengthening of civil rights and individual liberty. Judging from Trumps history and statements, there is absolutely zero chance he will deliver that. Nada. None.
Trump will bring a powerful corporate/government alliance that tosses aside constitutional restraints in order "to get things done". He will grow the government exponentially in size and power in service to his personal vision of a "great again America" and his googly-eyed acolytes will cheer him on until that day they realize that Trump's idea of a Great America is more like a leftwing statist's dream than that of a constitutional conservative's vision, if they can even remember back to the long ago time when they actually considered themselves conservative.
