As the spring draws nigh, Donald Trump, the businessman and media personality turned presidential candidate, is considered in many quarters to be all that is wrong about politics. Bernie Sanders supporters have taken to violently disrupting Trump campaign rallies. On the other side of the political spectrum, Republican movers and shakers are scheming to deny Trump the nomination by any means necessary, even if it means supporting Senator Ted Cruz. So, the logical consequence of this state of affairs is that comparing any other politician to Donald Trump is the worst insult one can devise short of violating Godwins law and bringing in Adolf Hitler. Ted Cruz went there on Meet the Press when he suggested that President Barack Obama is just like Trump in that he is a world-class demagogue.

Cruz, you and Zer0 were first term Senators. And, we don’t call him Zer0 for nothing.
Hmmmm. The difference between “build a wall” and “heal the planet” probably isn’t very much.
Weve already got Godwins Law, so would this be Whittingtons Law, when you want to compare someone else to an icon of incompetence and grossly violating the Peter Principal?
I once said if Trump doesn’t get the nomination, I’d support Cruz...not anymore. If lyin’ Ted wins, I’ll still write in Trump.
Trump can’t even remember what comes out of his mouth 5 minutes ago. You fools are duped.
The S.S. Cruz appears to have slipped its mooring and drifted into the shallows.
Cruz started strong but has been making increasingly statements that makes one wonder about his mental state. This is just absurd. Maybe Cruz means that both are males, appear healthy, and are married with children.
Big Daddy Rafael is pulling Ted’s strings... poor abused Ted can’t help himself
Damned right!
Cruz is not very smart at all. If he actually believes the gop is going to let him have the nomination he is sadly mistaken. In fact, he now falls into the category of “useful idiot”.
On top of that, if by some chance he was to get the nomination, the gop will do everything they can to help Hillary, or whoever the dem is, defeat him.
Actually, I’d say Donald Trump is like Barack Obama. But he’s learned from Obama and now realizes there’s no limits on a media-driven cult of personality.
No limits at all - black people are worse off under Obama, with higher unemployment and high rates of crime, than they had been for years before him. But that doesn’t matter, they all still have framed pictures of him hanging in their living rooms and kitchens.
Im closely approaching the point where Id rather see Rubio or Kasich instead of Cruz, if Trump were not to win.
And that’s exactly what the gopE is planning on.
Ah yes, but remember, sometime around Iowa, Trump said Cruz was like Obama and worse than Hillary.
I read it right here, on FR.
Ted IS the GOPe!
The only reason to vote for the liberal Trump is his newly-discovered wish to build a border wall and to stop Islamic immigration. But his retreats from those recent positions (”I’m changing. I’m changing”), and his general roulette-wheel method of deciding what comes out of his mouth - make him a distant second pick behind Sen Cruz.
definitely worse than a three-hour cruise. More like a Tedtanic Cruise.
And some people want to swap out our Kenyanesian Usurpation for a Cubanadian Usurpation.
CRUZ is insane.
Glen Beck has been saying that for awhile. Ted, did stop to think about why Beck has been losing viewers and his business is flailing?
Lyin’ Ted is at it again.
