I am a Trump supporter but I would like to know if Cruz's comments about Chicago changed the mind of any of his supporters. Is it A) no difference I still support Cruz B) I am rethinking my support for Cruz C) I am now going to support another candidate or not voting?
Cruz is remaking his campaign with people like Neil Bush.
I know you want to believe in the guy but don't be fooled by his act. He's an establishment guy.
After listening to Donald in his own words, do you still support him?
I think Ted Cruz is a smart guy and quite possibly smarter than most of us, yet he is not old enough to have lived through the 1960s and early 1970s when this sort of political theater was rampant. So for those of us who are old enough, what we’re seeing is just a rerun of an old movie with a familiar plot and set of characters.
Disruption at Trump rallies is 99% the fault of left-wing agitators and 1% the fault of Donald Trump’s ambiguous statements. I’m pretty sure Ted Cruz probably knows this but he sees political advantage in saying otherwise.
On our side, we need to unite now. Let’s face the harsh facts, either Trump or Cruz will be a million miles ahead of what the other party has to offer and either one of them will make a good president. I hope this phase ends soon and the party can unite around one or the other. But personally I don’t blame Trump for the disruptions, we had better get used to this volatility because a reset is long overdue in the balance between the silent majority and the noisy minority who have bullied people into accepting a vast load of questionable policy over the past ten years.
Your words, not mine.
That should send a signal.
That applies to Cruz as well.
Unfortunately there’s a huge perception out there that Trump’s a racist. I see it in everyday people. I don’t think he is, but I think Trump is playing the dog whistle to try and get votes from people who are racists or lean that way in one way or another. That is where Trump is getting himself into trouble.
It’s not the job of the other candidates to correct that record. Trump’s gone down that road himself and he’s the one who has to dig himself out of the hole. It’s very silly to hold everyone responsible except the man who created that perception about himself to begin with. No one’s calling Cruz, Rubio or Kasich racist. It’s one thing if they say our guys are racist because they oppose affirmative action. They might say that, but it’s not a charge that will stick or get people as riled up as they are about Trump.
Trump has unfortunately emboldened the protestors by backing out of the rally. His visions of campaigning in Democrat states and districts and getting the minority, Hispanic and black vote seem to be more quixotic with each passing day.
In all honesty, I favored Cruz until last night. His statements about the Chicago violence proved he has neither the character nor moral compass to be president. Cruz has lost my support.
However, that does not mean Trump is the answer. Frankly, I think they all suck.
Come November we might have to vote Trump merely to restore law and order and patriotism. It will get ugly, and the America haters will be revealed. Conservatism will not be the top priority if society itself is disintegrating.
I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. Maybe if you said, “I’m the greatest, everyone else is stupid if you don’t think I am the greatest,” that would help me out. We all love hearing the “Trump Speak.” It is just so inspirational. You know, the you’re an idiot, nasty, ugly, etc... “ Love how when Trump gets himself in a corner he points the finger at everyone else but himself. What I can’t understand is how you are still following this man of such low character.
I have never uttered those words to you.
Your problem is projection which normal people grow out of around 20-22 years of age.
You are in a perpetual cycle of supporting whatever your masters tell you.
Sorry.
When you put it all together like that, it makes me wonder seriously if this is all a plan to get the nomination just to throw the election to Hillary with a bad general election campaign.
Projection......
You can Google that as well.
Rubio??? Ppfffttt...not on your life! I voted for him once. I won’t make that mistake again;)
Your scenario is as likely as any. This year though, it seems everything we thought we knew is unlikely or not so.
It is the source of an example used by Milton Freidman in Free to Choose.
That makes me Happy that you believe in the Lord.
Do you know what Trump means by that? I will share since it seems to be a riddle you cannot figure out.
This Country is so damn upset by the establishment that an outsider can come in and be elected regardless of his past.
That is what it means. 9th grade civics should have found a home somewhere in your head.
That clever "get a life" retort means, what exactly - you mean get a life like yours? No thanks, I prefer reality.
Yes, it one time he was my second pic after Trump. No with Rubio and Kasich joining him and the GOPe. I will never vote for any of them.
Anyone Marco Ted or Kasich could have stood up for the principle of free speech. They all failed big time
