Actually, that’s a valid question. I don’t know the political optics of that, but as a Cruz supporter I would definitely like to see Ted come out against what Romney has done.
Should it occur that Trump is the nominee, it is not hard to imagine the Democrats gyping Romney’s video news conference in the General election on behalf of Hillary. What Romney/the GOPe has done is unconscionable.

Unfortunately SC law does not allow for recall of the controversial Nikki Haley in spite of her numerous scandals. Her disdain for our history is obvious. She was not raised to love this country.

Haley is a lame duck Governor. She has no future in SC politically. So her only hope is a cabinet position. Therefore explaining why she has removed her mask.
BTW, Romney's ridiculous rant, sprinkled with statements he knows are lies, revealed him to be a bitter, hate-filled backstabber and liar. Surely he had not forgotten how Trump helped him and his own praise of Trump? We can be thankful for Trump for exposing the hidden truth about politicians as well as scores of those posting here.
The bottom line is that Trump can’t unify the GOP. it’s going to be ugly in November.
Who can unify the GOP? Certainly not Cruz or Rubio.
Nikki Haley is two-faced about the tax returns of Romney in 2012 vs Trump in 2016. She’s just another disappointing RINO.
This and the Romney bloviating crap today makes me support Trump 10X stronger.

I think Cruz comes the closest. Rubio would beat Hillary most handily but I think some of his support would come from Democrats. Not many Democrats are going to support Cruz but the polls still have him beating Hillary so I gotta believe that it’s because he would do a better job of unifying the GOP. The polls have consistently had Trump losing to Hillary. Most recently by 8 points. And that is significant because Trump has also consistently done worse in the actual voting than he has in the polls.
In any event its pretty much academic now. Trump will soon have the nomination sewn up and the only thing left will be the recriminations.
Two scumbag politicians that will NEVER win another election.
