Running into lots of conservatives concerned media giving Trump a pass and not vetting him, just reporting everything he says and acting as his press agent.
There's a reason for this: Trump as the nominee accomplishes their two main objectives.
But fear not, my young padawans, I bring you glad tidings of great joy this morning. Because if a real vetting of Trump-World madness is what you want, rest assured starting the morning after he gives his rambling, incoherent acceptance speech at the convention the vetting will begin.
Some things you may learn later this year:
And don't worry, when they start really vetting Trump, they won't offer him all the free media he's currently getting to defend himself. The phone-in interviews to those Sunday shows no one else gets will suddenly stop, too.
Oh, yes, padawans, once he's the nominee the media vetting of Trump will be very real and very spectacular. Because with the Left poised to nominate the most disliked Marxist in America, it's all about driving down our base turnout.
But hey, it's only the future of the country at stake, so I understand why we don't want to pass up a chance at the greatest reality show ever told.
Trump 2016! Making cults great again.
I’m not saying that. Steve Deace might be implying that, though ...
These people should get real. If Trump weren’t in the race, that idiot Rubio would be vaulted to #1 and easily win the nomination. Cruz never had a chance.
I notice on your personal page that you practically anti-worship Trump, have a wonderful montage of many many pictures of him that make you feel better than him, and you like to quote Jim
You seem to be obsessed with other people.
One thing you should look at: it's not whether you worship someone or hate someone ... it's the obsession that's important. It's quite possible to dislike or disagree with someone without being obsessed. For example, I disagree with Hillary, but I don't have a collection of 100 pictures of her coughing and looking ugly.
So as you're calling those who support his candidacy sheep, cultists, followers etc., consider whether it's you who are following him. The only difference is that you curse him as you follow, rather than bow. But you still follow him.
Trump is still controlling your life. America is about freedom. But you are a slave.
Where’s that “I told her Trump makes me uncomfortable — she said we should both see other men” sign?
They don't care who wins, and they're not conservatives.
They are envious of his beautiful family, jealous of his extraordinary business success, and resentful of his political accomplishments.
“Like they wonât do the very same to Ted Cruz?
Or any of the rest?”
********************************************************************************
I don’t know about “the rest”, but they’ve been “vetting” Ted Cruz for years with little result.
Deace is such an irrelevant assclown
The thing is, you are saying that.
Good analysis, delivered with a deft touch.
Yeah Trump gets a pass..just today The President, every candidate on both sides, talk radio, and Fox News/CNN spent all day blasting him.
Folks are decruzional
Translation: “I got nothing. But I’m gonna have a whole big list of names. Soon. You watch. They’ll be coming out my eyes, coming out my whatever.”
If he gets the nom, they’ll probably start making stuff up.
Trump inevitable implosion #436.
NO DOUBT!
They are already.
His predictions have been quite accurate so far.
it will happen and watch trump go further left as it does...then it will be too late to do a thing about it.
Can anyone post three minutes of Trump speaking on one topic that is not rambling, incoherent and immature?
-—Trump is still controlling your life. America is about freedom. But you are a slave.

That was my impression, but you put it to words better than I would have.
