Does ISIS Have Nukes?
Director Blue ^ | January 31, 2016 | Baron Bodissey

The following video and text don't supply an answer to that question.

The author of the text (which is in German) is purportedly a former member of the Islamic State who wants to warn the West that ISIS possesses four nuclear devices, and plans to use them against the United States, Russia, France, and Germany. What he says may well be a hoax, or more specifically, deliberately planted disinformation to achieve particular political ends. I can think of several Great Powers who would find it useful to disseminate the fiction that ISIS is ready to use nuclear weapons.

However, it could also be true. If it is, you may be sure that the intelligence services of Russia and the major Western powers are well aware of it. As the ISIS defector points out, the West has moles inside the highest levels of the Caliphate.

Before making this video, Vlad and I discussed the pros and cons of whether we should publish this material. After all, it serves the propaganda interests of the Islamic State to have this sort of thing disseminated. On the other hand, if it turns out to be true, and a mushroom cloud were to light up Berlin or Paris next week, we would have been remiss not to have put the information out.

So here it is, but with a huge CAVEAT: We have no idea whether the information given in this video and text is authentic. Listen to it or read it, and make your own best judgment.

The video and pdf were originally published by Netzplanet, which is also unable to confirm the authenticity of the story.

The text read out in the video and the text of the pdf are the same. Many thanks to Nash Montana for the translation, and to Vlad Tepes for the subtitling:

To tell the truth Laz, if they did have nukes, then we would see many of them dying with radiation poisoning,or blowing themselves up to test the devices, or even by accident.

Just one of those devices used would result in a smack down
that leftists would be caterwauling about for generations.May they bring it soon!

It doesn't matter if ISIS has nukes or not at this point.

... well it does sort of matter.

If ISIS had nukes, Washington DC would still be safe for as long as their leader is there (until January 20, 2017), but Tel Aviv would be gone. ISIS doesn’t have nukes. Yet.

What do we do if the answer is YES!

What do we do if the answer is NO.

this report can't be accurate because it references stuff that doesn't exist.

Just like every other trashy blog out there.

Considering radical muslims have infiltrated the US Govt., then yes, they technically do have nukes.

If you have such a devise and do not immediately use it, then you have to have the skills and equipment to maintain it - the longer you go without service the more likely it becomes a dud.

Suicide bomber with a truck or backpack depending on size and weight.

That they haven’t used it speaks more to not having one ... yet.

Destruction and radius depends on the yield of the particular devise, and on how well it was maintained prior to use - you just do not pick one up and put it into the closet until you want to use it.

Figure if it is a fission devise that all dead within 1 mile at the minimum.

Here you go make your own local nuke explosion:
NUKEMAP

yes and they are in the white house.... obama and jarrett

does this have anything to do with the movement of a few nukes from texas to charleston that never arrived..... and pansy graham was blabbering about them going to charleston...

haven’t we heard this story before..???

hey they just MURDERED a US CITIZEN in oregon without due process
Hillary murdered 4 in Benghazi... and had Khadaffy murdered to facilitate an oil deal
obama is responsible for hundreds of thousands of deaths by supporting
his muslim brothers and the arab spring.... and the iran deal

the magnitutde is of no consequence and if they are not using our own nukes the cartel can drive trucks across the open border any time they wish...

the USA created ISIS, funded it, trained the operatives, continues to support it, is conducting a phony anti isis bombing campaign dropping leaflets warning of our attacks and has set up phony ROE to prevent ISIS getting hit.... on the other hand Russia accokmplished more in one week thatn the USA campaign did in a year...

ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS.
THE CIA IS MORE FOCUSED ON DIVERSITY THAN ON ISIS
FIELD INTEL IS EDITED TO COINCIDE WITH WHITE HOUSE FANTASY POLITICS
LORETTA LYNCH IS MORE CONCERNED WITH ANTI MUSLIM RHETORIC THAT ISIS
OBAMA IS VISTING A MOSQUE RUN BY TERRORISTS SUPPORTERS
THE FBI HAS MOLES WHO PROVIDE EARLY WARNINGS AND THEY DO NOTHING...

WE HAVE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT .......

You're talking about evasion of detection being impossible for a suitcase nuke or something delivered via land, correct?

No. I'm talking about space-based detection of all warheads, regardless of shielding, depth in the sea, or being buried in the ground.

Figure if it is a fission devise that all dead within 1 mile at the minimum.

Even that would be an accomplishment for an improvised or low-tech device. Unless they have connections in high places within a sophisticated nuclear country . . .

. . . fission yields would be quite limited, and there would be survivors within a mile of ground zero. Akiko Takakura survived at three hundred meters from ground zero in Hiroshima, and Tsutomu Yamaguchi survived both Hiroshima and Nagasaki within 3 km from ground zero both times (either very lucky to survive or very unlucky to be visiting Hiroshima on the wrong day and then back at his job in Nagasaki, despite his burns, later that week).

Add tritium - correctly - and all bets are off. But where would they get the detailed technical knowledge; theory is not enough. It's not like high government officials in the United States government would mishandle Top Secret . . . um . . . never mind.

Survivors - count them on the fingers of one hand or maybe both or throw in a few toes not many more.

All dead does for rough purposes - no need to get someone’s hope up. I think the questioner was hoping that somehow he lived far enough away from a possible target zone and that none of his family or property would be effected.

http://atomicbombmuseum.org/4_survivors.shtml

[In Japan,] a national survey of October 1950 gives a national survivor total of 283,508, with 158,597 for Hiroshima, 124,167 for Nagasaki, and 10 persons who experienced both bombings.

Of Hiroshima’s survivors, 79 percent lived in Hiroshima Prefecture, of whom 98,102 (79%) resided in Hiroshima City. Comparable figures for Nagasaki survivors were 111,294 (89%) in its prefecture, with 96,582 (77%) living in the city.

[From another source:] Within the first two to four months after the bombings, the acute effects of the atomic bombings killed 90,000 - 146,000 people in Hiroshima and 39,000 - 80,000 in Nagasaki; roughly half of the deaths in each city occurred on the first day.

My point? The number of survivors, even of a real (fission) nuke, would be large, probably larger than the number dead. It would be a terrible thing to happen, and medical care for the wounded would lead to national challenges, but it is not the end of the world even for those within 1-3 km of the blast. Go with fusion, a genuine, high-yield thermonuclear device, and all bets are off for several kilometers.

And my point was to keep the questioners expectation low. False hopes and statistics from primitive nuke use may be very misleading for today’s nukes.

You wanna tell him that there is nothing to worry about - all your family and property will be just fine - go back to sleep?

Something occurred to me. If they gave a warning but included fake details they could have the general public believe it (which is the effect they want and would qualify as the warning that Islam requires) while those more knowledgeable would discount it (which could keep them from action to prevent the strike).

Do we have the capability of knowing from space where every bit of radioactive material is on earth? If so, then what is the talk of the hole in our radar defense? Is it that even though we would know there was a bomb heading our way we wouldn’t be able to lock our missile defense system in to shoot down something before it was detonated?

If we have the ability to know where radioactive material is, then how could Iran have hidden their nuke program from the IAEA that whole time? And we would know if Pakistan (for instance) had given nukes to ISIS or other groups. Do we know that?
