Golly, how could that have happened?
Hillary Clintonâs use of an insecure secret email server was obviously a problem in and of itself, but the steady drip, drip, drip of information has revealed that Mrs. Clintonâs latest scandal goes well beyond mere procedural issues. Just last week we learned that her communications contained information from some of the countryâs most secretive and highly guarded programs. We also learned that China and Russia probably had access to it. Now, because itâs a day that ends in âY,â Hillaryâs email scandal has gotten worse.
According to the New York Post, the FBI is interested in exactly how such sensitive and tightly controlled information made its way to Hillaryâs server. The answer seems to be âher team ignored regulations and cut & pasted it into their emails.â
Correct.
It was either retyped, or scanned with the headers blotted out.
I’m guessing it was transcription, scan and strip is actually more labor intensive, but still possible.
Actually, if I were a betting man, I’d be looking for the ‘both’ option.
It could be as simple as photo on an iPhone pasted into an email message
Probably snapped pics of the secure documents on the display with a cell phone and used the pics to retype the contents later.

I think the whole government has gone corrupt. This is going to be a really bad year for the USA.
Exactly.
As logical and rational as all the claims that on secure systems it is impossible to save or copy the classified information .... the blinding facts are that classified information was copied and saved to Benghazi Clinton’s personal server .... so, in spite of all the “gee whiz” security protocols they did do it!
The trick is to find out how they did it for two reasons: one, to hang Benghazi Clinton and her gang; and two, to plug the method used to do it.
Couldn’t you manually take a digital pic of the document on the monitor and then load that pic onto your unsecured computer?
I agree, the whole government is corrupt from top to bottom. There are good people mixed in but they won’t do anything that might jeapardize their pensions. They all know exactly how to game the system.
And anyone who thinks all this can be fixed by one man is delusional. The infestation is deep and well protected.
You would have to hand transfer it. Pretty easy if it is only a few pages - just type the classified into the unclassified system. Illegal as hell, but laws are made for poeple like me, not Her Thighness.
I’m sure it will turn out that Tea Partiers sneaked into her office and inserted above top secret stuff into them just to get her.
The Vast Right Wing Conspiracy strikes again!
Hillary Lied / Four Died!
Lock this lying putrid who*re up!!
They burned it onto CDs and physically moved it from one system to another.
absolutely intentional. Anyone else would be in jail.
Yea, but what about the secure systems the corrupt SoS wants physical access to? Somehow the transfer across the air gap was made. Thumb drive access would be the simplest, ergo it was probably activated by a system hack. After all, you have to have a classified email in the first place if you want to strip its classification from it.
No thumb drives anylonger, but otherwise correct.
The NSA was probably under orders to help Hillary have anything she wanted. I doubt this level of corruption was/is limited to Hillary in Obama’s government. I bet it’s more the rule now rather than the exception.
There were not single copies of all sensitive data, there were three of each.
One for Hillary, one for Valerie, and one for Huma.
Not counting translations in Beijing, Moscow, Tehran, Cairo...
Why bother with that when you can use CamScanner+? Just take a picture of it with your phone and use the app’s OCR function to turn it into text. Easy-peasy.

I talked to a guy who worked at one of the govt. labs handling super-classified stuff. They were forbidden from bringing cell phones to the office.
Now, this was early in the Clinton years (Bill, that is), so the rules might have changed since then.
