Why bother with that when you can use CamScanner+? Just take a picture of it with your phone and use the app’s OCR function to turn it into text. Easy-peasy.

I talked to a guy who worked at one of the govt. labs handling super-classified stuff. They were forbidden from bringing cell phones to the office.
Now, this was early in the Clinton years (Bill, that is), so the rules might have changed since then.
Okay, so I just tried this with the free version. I took a picture of my last post (on my laptop display) with it and OCR’d it. It worked and fast. Got a few things wrong, but those could be easily correct.
