This wasn't supposed to happen.
The union goons have always been squarely in the camp of the Democratic party totalitarians, haven't they? After all, the economic pig-ignorance that characterizes of a large swath of unionized workers fits perfectly in line with the Democratic party platform.
It might surprise you to learn, then, that members of the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) support the message of GOP presidential candidate Donald J. Trump.
"I am deeply concerned about what is stirring, even in our membership... where our members are responding to Trump's message," said Mary Kay Henry, the international president of the SEIU.
She's "deeply concerned" that members of her union might have developed something called an "open mind." As a result, they're actually thinking about the issues, their families, and what's best for the country instead of just pulling the "D" lever when they vote on election day.
The horror!
"Sixty-four percent of our public members identify as conservative, and are much more interested in the Republican debate than the Democratic debate at the moment," she admitted.
Ah, if only we could have poll-watchers to make sure those conservative members don't vote Republican.
Life is so tough when you're trying to screw up a country....

Well, they do look pretty stupid driving around with “I’m The NRA and I vote” and “Hillary 2016” bumper stickers on their pickup trucks.
As predicted. Not surprised here in the least.
In every union there’s a huge chasm between union leadership and its activists, vs regular dues paying members who often must belong to the union, or who belong to the union for the benefits they bring to the table. The two sides within the unions are not to be confused.
While the Nation of Islam (NOI) defines themselves as Islamic, by all things holy, they are no way in any form Islamic. I have spoken to innumerable muslims in debates and discussions and they all laugh at NOI. Why? Because the NOI declared in 1937 (or somewhere about then) that some guy back then was a prophet. The NOI calls for their own sovereign land in the USA and its not some desert in Arizona. They want it right smack in the middle of the heartland. NOI are made up of nothing but kooks. Hannity has this caller on for the laugh factor at the same time a gauge of what the kooks on the far left are thinking. In Islam there is no such thing as a minister. Farrakhan is a King leech and his only claim to fame was that he was a friend of Martin Luther King. There is some speculation about Farrakhan and the assassination of King. However, that is for another discussion. Farrakhan gets rich off the backs of the poor and is just another race-baiter like all the other fringe kooks that makes money that way.
UAW members I buy but not SEIU, they are a primarily marxist group. I’ve been fighting these idiots for far too long be believe they have suddenly seen the light.
My first up close encounter with them was in 09 at the protest against Obamacare. Some 200 of them were bused in on a weekday afternoon to try to intimidate local protesters.
If you stand with the SEIU I will not stand with you.
Agree with everything you posted.
I’m trying to think of a scenario where I would get excited over SEIU goons going for Cruz, and I come up dry. If that were to happen, I’d know something was wrong.
“Sixty-four percent of our public members identify as conservative”
Conservatives need to take over the SEIU.
I agreed with you on the Nation Of Islam and Farrakhan.
What I thought was significant about the call was that there are even some Black Muslims who are supporting Trump, despite what their leaders are telling them.
I think it’s part of the bigger picture, that Trump appeals to individuals across a broad spectrum of social groups (like unions), despite what their leadership is telling them.
I can tell that you’ve heard that caller before on Hannity. IMO the caller is a real Black Muslim and was on the level about his support for Trump. IMO the caller supports Trump because the caller likes Trump’s policy positions, so much so that the caller is willing to go against what Farrakhan thinks of Trump.
That’s a good sign for Trump’s electability.
If Trump is getting such huge support from Democrats then he should run as the DNC nominee.
The leadership sure, the rank and file, nope.
Or maybe they should become Republicans. Or maybe both parties suck.
It wasn’t leadership I saw threatening people in the street while I was standing against Obamacare. That was rank and file.
It was the SEIU that shared HQ offices with ACORN in New Orleans.
Anybody who buys this BS is too stupid to handle a ballot safely.
If you believe the rent a mobs are representative of any unions overall membership I would suggest getting a bit more informed.
I suggest you nut up and stop believing in fairy tales little fella.

If you think the roughly 2 Million members of the SEIU all walk lock step with the rent a mob crowd or their leadership, you are indeed fooling yourself.
Every Trumpster knows that the Ends Justify the Means. WINNING!
Just scroll through a few pages.

They’re nothing but an enforcement wing of whatever ACORN calls themselves these days.
While we’re pandering to democrats, folks might want to take a close look at some of the democrats for trump websites. They all say “Vote for Trump......in the primary” with no mention of the general election.
Hubby is a retired firefighter and was a member of their union for 33 yrs. You are correct about the difference between leadership and members. I have seen some almost violent conversations between a member and the local union president at parties. lol Funny thing is I know the president very well. Like him a lot. He is mostly conservative but will push the vote for Democrats every time because they are the one who give the union what they want. He even admits it.
