1,300 Likely Republican Voters want to see Trump and Bush Drop Out of Presidential Field

Who is your horse in the race?

If you said former FL Gov. Jeb Bush, you’re not in the majority.

Here is a graph that asks GOP voters who they’d like to see drop out of the race ASAP…

From IJR:

K

Ooooooooh, Donald Trump?

The man atop nearly every Republican poll is also number three on the list of candidates that people want to see drop out?

Interesting.

Must be a conservative poll.

Jeb and Rand, I’m sorry, but it’s time to go fellas.

Question: Why isn’t Kasich first in this poll?

Ultimately (as I noted a couple days back), I believe that Cruz, Carson, and Rubio will be the three candidates left standing at the end of the day, and it looks like others would like to see that happen, as well.

This survey consists of 1,300 likely Republican voters who watched the third GOP debate on CNBC.

“But I would a helluva lot rather take my chances with Trump or Cruz than with Bush or, say, Kasich.”

Absolutely. I’d stay home with Bush or Kasich.

Remember, Trump doesn’t need anybody’s money either, so that’s not as issue. And the establishment will supposedly back the nominee, hence the pledge.

That Cruz doesn’t could be why he’s silent on what he’ll do with the illegals here.

What closet? I’ve had exactly the same position on FR and been very active in immigration discussions since the day I joined FR 15 yrs ago.

I posted about the first pro-illegals rally before it happened. Pre-FR, I’ve had the same position on immigration since the 50s and “bracero” debates.

Marco Rubio is on the Bush tag team.
He has an outrageous take on illegal aliens. The amnesty programs will be opened up like flood gates. I don’t trust him.

I wouldn't count on it.

They did nothing for Goldwater. Nothing!

And whatever they did for Reagan in 1980, they did reluctantly and half-assedly.

That Cruz doesn’t could be why he’s silent on what he’ll do with the illegals here.

I've got no concerns about Cruz in this regard. In fact, I agree with his stance that talking about what you might do after the border is secure is actually a distraction. And might even have a negative effect, since the logical next step is to take steps to encourage self-deportation -- which would be telling your opponents what you want them to do, thereby encouraging them to do otherwise.

Note, though, that he has assured us that any illegal that might remain will never have a "pathway to citizenship", thus voting. On the other hand, Trump is, as I understand it, willing to let large numbers of them back in...and become citizens.

if illegals remain, they will become citizens eventually. maybe not on his watch but they will.

That he is not talking probably has to do with his donors - and amnesty no matter what he calls it is the plan. I don’t trust a politician that won’t talk about his plan

“Read about Paul Singer, Rubio’s new billionaire donor, and you will cross Rubio off your list.”

Thanks for mentioning him. It’s wealthy donors like him that have helped bring about the demise of the Republican Party by supporting homo causes and the illegal invaders. No wonder Water Boy is such a schmuck, following orders from the likes of Singer.

The kool aid is the stuff in your head that shows at your eyes.

I know reality is a bit much for Trumpets to absorb.

Actually, Cruz is the only known in this.

His record as Solicitor General, and as US Senator are the only things real and believable in this election cycle.

The rest is less reliable than pure bullshit.

Alternate must be your word for false.

66% of republicans say they would not vote for Trump under any circumstances.

Yep, push poll propaganda always says something different from reality.

That is why they do them.

99% of Trump’s support.

They’re all loud and childish, and tend to reject reality out of hand.

You’re an “editor”, and that’s the best you can do? You might consider a career change.

My point was that 16.8% was the number who wanted Trump to drop out.

The inverse is 83%.

This is a post of a post from another site, by the way, and not a reference to the source article. What is posted as a headline is a comment.

The posting also glossed over Rand Paul as no2, jumping to 3 to get Trump in the headline. In fact their headline mentions him first, leading one to believe he is the one most wanted out of the race. Not true.

And I could find nowhere in this survey any mention that 66pct would never ever vote for him. I went all the way back to the original IJ article and the Google source poll.

dear editor,

As a 63 year old military veteran who has been fed up with the UniParty, aka the bacon-wrapped shrimp diner set, I believe that your estimation is in gross error, and needs to be re-computed.

Where, you might ask? Where’s the State of Michigan?

‘uppah you ess’!!
