There is a meme circulating that appears to be making fun of Dr Ben Carson’s wife, Lacena. The meme shows the image of the Carsons next to a picture of the Obamas, highlighting the difference in beauty between Mrs. Carson and Mrs. Obama. There is also a noticable difference in the ladies’ style of dress and fashion sense. While Mrs. Obama will go down in history as one of the gorgeous first ladies of all-time, Mrs. Carson probably will not.
Some think the image is funny and realistic, but others have taken offense. Demetria Luca, writing for TheRoot.com, says this:
I’m no fan of presidential candidate Ben Carson. I don’t like his politics. He receives his fair share of ire from potential voters, but he asked to be dissected in the media, traditional and social, when he announced his bid for the presidency. Candy Carson did not. There are plenty of exceptionally valid reasons to rage about Ben Carson without adding his wife to the mix.
Just who made this stupid, idiotic, pandering, stupid, idiotic, pandering, (did I say stupid?) assessment of the most vile, nasty-faced, treasonous, uninformed, high-waisted, sasquatch of a women as gorgeous?
She is a puke, looking for a throat to erupt from.

Haven’t you ever passed by a black church and seen the ladies and gentleman? When I was a youth in the 80s and was fascinated with fashion, I used to fight over sales of designer clothes with black women. I rarely won!

Liberals are so divorced from reality they genuinely believe the “Jedi Mind Trick” actually works.
When Barbara Bush was First Lady, the title became so popular that Macy’s introduced a line of linens called, “First Lady”. People loved that she looked real, like everybody’s grandma. I think she was one of the most popular First Ladies.
If attractive and fashionable were requirements for being First Lady, a number of them in living memory would never have made it. I don’t know anything about Mrs. Carson and it’s questionable as to whether there’s any real chance of her becoming one, but they really shouldn’t go there.
Candy has an MBA from Johns Hopkins and has worked in trust administration, insurance, and real estate in Baltimore in addition to being a former concert violinist so I don’t know about fashionable or glamorous but drab and dowdy housewife she is definitely not.

If they put wigs on her, hide her butt and put her in expensive gowns, Moochele is almost tolerable, but she is the Potemkin village of gorgeous. Ask the guys at the water cooler if they’d ever thought of banging her.
Boob belts are big with trannies to give an appearance of female curves.
Not to mention the penis gown, the wedgie pants and the nipple dress.
Not every FOTUS can pull that off. :)

Q: You’ve had some incredibly noteworthy experiences throughout your professional career. What did you learn from working on the Obama campaign in 2008?
A: It was one of the most amazing, yet challenging experiences ever. I hadn’t been that challenged since I pledged. My responsibilities included outreach to local restaurants to see if they would donate food for the volunteers, canvassing, phone banking, and voter registration. We worked every single day for no less than 14 hours, and we walked almost 5-10 miles daily. Despite the challenges, I wouldn’t trade it for the world. Obama’s campaign showed me the beauty of humanity. The host families were willing to open up their homes to strangers for free. There was an incredible amount of trust, it didn’t matter your race, sexuality or gender. Everybody loved everybody.

I didn’t say she was drab and dowdy. I said I thought she looked more like his mother than his wife. IOW, maybe a little tweaking by a fashion consultant would be helpful.
That’s strictly my opinion from seeing her in person once while sitting one row behind her at the speaking engagement.
She looks like one of the Morlocks in The Time Machine..
