Multiple Updates Below – Shooter ID’d as 26-year-old “Chris Harper Mercer” ♦ Last night an anonymous poster on the Website 4Chan posted a warning of an intent to carry out an attack at a Northwest U.S. Community College (CACHE HERE). ♦ Today an attack was carried out:

According to this Local report: The gunman who opened fire at Umpqua Community College in Oregon asked victims to state their religion before opening fire, according to multiple reports. An 18-year-old student told the News-Review newspaper that the gunman, after shooting her teacher in the head through a window, told people to get on the ground. He then told people to stand up and state their religion before opening fire. Twitter user @BodhiLooney, who said her grandma was at the school, said the shooter asked people if they were Christian. “If they said yes, then they were shot in the head,” she wrote. “If they said no, or didn’t answer, they were shot in the legs.”

♦ Umpqua Community College was/is the local college attended by Alek Scarlatos (pictured below far right). Scarlatos was one of the 3 U.S. Heroes who took down the jihadist gunman on the train in France recently. Alek was enrolled in this current fall semester (per his Facebook), however he cancelled his classes and took time off to take advantage of an opportunity and complete in Dancing With The Stars.

♦ EARLER – The FBI and DHS are warning members of the United States military to scrub their social media accounts due to a growing threat from ISIS terrorists.

Catherine Herridge reported on “Happening Now” today on the joint bulletin that went out over the weekend. The bulletin said the FBI has information suggesting “individuals overseas are spotting and assessing like-minded individuals who are willing and capable of conducting attacks against current and former U.S.-based members of the United States military.”

Officials want current service members and veterans to review their social media posts and remove information that could “attract the attention of ISIS and its supporters.” (link)

Curiously, authorities are refusing to release the name of the gunman.

♦ If you look at the profile of Mahmoud Ali Ehsani (aka: ” Dick_hard_like_a_pistol ” ) what you find is a propensity toward Islamic Extremism and Jihad. Here’s a sample:

While it is difficult to determine the timeline of the relationship; the possibility remains that Chris Harper-Mercer may have been recruited and radicalized. More research needed.

♦ There is also a Chris Harper-Mercer who held a profile on a Dating Website “Spiritual Passions” (Bow-Chicka-Wow-Wow) Under the alias ” IRONCROSS45 ” : (LINK)

Interesting, this is the first time I have heard of a Muslim using 4chan. I had thought that the website was primarily a stomping ground for atheists and Nordic neopagans. It goes to show that jihadists and atheists both require Christians and Jews to be slaughtered to reach their utopia, and they are quite content to work with one another to achieve their goals.
