Donald Trump has taken many positions that annoy conservatives and some that infuriate conservatives; but on the issues that matter most: securing the border, making America respected and feared and stabilizing our economy, his positions are quite appealing.
Therefore, with nothing left to throw at him, the GOPes personal choice for president, Jeb Bush, has decided that voters can be swayed away from Trump and toward him by showing us film clips of statements Trump made up to several years ago. Making believe (at least I hope so) that they dont understand why Trump the Businessman would say things that are contrary to what Trump the Candidate for President would say, they are dusting off their He/She is not pure enough to be a candidate playbook.
From a political standpoint this is a great move. It was taught to the GOPe by Rahm Emanuel in 2006 when he discovered that (gasp!) a Florida Republican Congressman named Foley was gay and taunted the Im way too conservative to vote for my Republican candidate here hundreds of miles away crowd into staying home or voting Democrat. Emanuel knew conservatives have morals and principles while Democrats dont. He was right.
The conservative jackasses that turned their backs...

What's the difference?
If W had done his JOB and PROTECTED and DEFENDED the CONSTITUION, he never would have allowed the Indonesian to even run!
Jeb is wasting his donors money on putting out ads about stuff everybody has known about for years. If this was going to turn people off to Trump he never would have zoomed in the polls to start with.
We just don’t care Jeb.
I think we should thoroughly examine all of the candidates and their positions. I do, however, get sick and tired of the cheap shot, drama queen arguments.
I was listening to the John Batchelor Show last night for the very last time. If he is going to be ridiculously unfair to some of the candidates and yet praise the moderates blindly, how do I trust anything he says? It is his show. He’s entitled to his opinions. I am not interested in listening to disrespectful, arrogant cheaters.
Mark Levin has earned my respect for how he has handled the candidates.
They're so terrified that they're starting to float the idea of running the loser Mitt Romney again. I think it's dawning on them that Jeb Bush is a loser.
Jeb is scum.
E candidates are part of that “really?” crowd. So I don’t think it’s really helping them.
I’ll tip my hat to the new constitution
Take a bow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around me
Pick up my guitar and play
Just like yesterday
And I’ll get on my knees and pray
We don’t get fooled again
The GOP-e `Wormtongues’ can peddle their papers somewhere else this time around. Fool me once, twice ....
The scariest thing about the GOPe is that its just now dawning on them that Jeb is a loser. How long have we known?
I’m in RIO central, up here in the Northeast—and I often listen to JR in podcast form. They are always smugly condescending toward the likes of Trump and his supporters, but listening as much as I do, I still don’t understand what makes such political weenies tick.

Is this the best we’ve got?
It does seem that Trump attracts his share of blind loyalists.
No comprende el Bush, no vota para el Bush.
We just dont care Jeb.
Someone has to explain to the Trump has a ceiling because of high negatives crowd that:
- Yes, we all have known of Trump and his liberal positions, and his off-putting flamboyance.
- And no, we havent started liking any of that stuff, and havent forgotten it.
- But we view Trump favorably as a tactical matter.
- Meaning, we will be at loggerheads with Trump when he starts goring our ox.
- And we know that will happen soon enough. Soon enough by our criteria - chief of which is that it not be soon enough to help you. Maybe you can get JEB nominated by the Democrats.
Signed,
The TEA Party
I think that is one of the most succinct outlines of the ‘why’ regarding Trump. Well done.
Jeb’s (and the DNC’s) PACs are scum and have been screwing this nation and the Republican party base for way too long now. Of course Jeb “approves this message.”
