And that's just the start; getting approval to bomb a target can take hours
Youd think it would represent a major blow to ISIS if you could take out its headquarters - and apparently U.S. forces know exactly where ISIS headquarters is located. Specifically were talking about seven buildings in Raqqa, Syria. Furthermore, youd think that if you had a shot at thousands of ISIS terrorists - the very ones who just took Ramadi and were running around in the open flaunting it - youd take them out.
Youd think that, but youd be wrong, at least according to the Obama Administrations best friends at the New York Times:
American and allied warplanes are equipped with the most precise aerial arsenal ever fielded. But American officials say they are not striking significant and obvious Islamic State targets out of fear that the attacks will accidentally kill civilians. Killing such innocents could hand the militants a major propaganda coup and alienate both the local Sunni tribesmen, whose support is critical to ousting the militants, and Sunni Arab countries that are part of the American-led coalition.

Duplicate thread.
They’re afraid of killing innocent civilians before the maniacs behead them?
Obama is allied with ISIS.
Everybody knows that.
Well, the New York Times, at least, has made sure any valuable targets clear the area.
Maybe they can send in some SEALs if they can convince Jarrett to sign off and they can wake Obama up or get him off the golf course long enough.
Ah, the New York Times. Always wrong, Always gullible.
LEAKING AMERICAN SECRETS IN THE PAST
That’s one poor excuse.they know where the Isis HQ is but they’re afraid of killing Civilians surrounding it..
Sometimes during war.If we want to continue this farce if calling this disaster a war.You have to take actions that kill the innoncent. Its tragic but when dealing with savages it has to be done.
By the way.The Air Force developed a weapon known as the small diamiter Bomb.Which was developed to take out targets in heavily populated areas without causing unwanted casulties.
This it?
This just crossing the wires:
Syrian army raid kills 140 Islamic State fighters: agency
BEIRUT (Reuters) - The Syrian air force killed at least 140 members of Islamic State in an air raid on a military base held by the group in the north of the country, state news agency SANA said on Tuesday.
Citing a military source, it said the raid on Tabqa air base in Raqqa province also wounded dozens of Islamic State fighters. Islamic State seized the base in August after fierce fighting and killed a large number of soldiers.
LOL. It is still a bomb, though reputedly more accurate and half the size of the MK82 500#er. It also costs 50 to 125 times more depending on the variant. The ac used over there can 'shack' buildings with the MK82. If civilians are in any bomb's frag/blast radius, it will kill them just like those targeted.
When Obama leaves office, he will assume his natural role as Commander in Chief of ISIS.
“Maybe they can send in some SEALs if they can convince Jarrett to sign off and they can wake Obama up or get him off the golf course long enough.”
The thing is, you can kill all the animals and they would simply be replaced by one of millions of other animals with the same ideology.
This isn’t a situation of one inner party hijacking an entire nation (like in Germany and the USSR). This is a 700+ year death cult that spans the entire globe with a billion followers.
It’s quite terrifying but the only real military choice appears to be a pre-emptive worldwide genocide of THEM before they grow powerful enough to kill US. Of course, we would NEVER do something like that when we are powerful because we are “too good”. I see one of two things happening:
1. Islam grows more fanatical and the West decays until the whole world resembles something like the ISIS battlefields.
OR
2. The entire world becomes one language and one culture through free information exchange. Religious fanaticism becomes a thing of the past and people finally stop f’n fighting.
It’s more about timing than anything else. Free information has to flow and change the minds of their children before the Islamists bring us down...
The new concept for the 21st century, invented by the Magic Negro...
The Stupid War.
There has yet to be a winning war in recorded history that had no "accidental" kills.
Until Now.
There are only two types of "accidental" kills...
The one resulting from stupidity, cluelessness or indifference to the conditions around you.
Or...
Deliberate passive or active support for an aggressive, animalistic primitive culture based on violence and mass murder.
Inaction.
Consequences.
Q.E.D.
Killing innocent civilians has nothing to do with his refusal to kill Isis leadership. He won’t kill them because he created them and they are his allies. I don’t know how much proof it takes to convince the American people that there’s a traitor in the white hut?
140 down...
79,860 to go...
And that's just the ones we know about.
I don’t disagree. Perhaps you haven’t seen some of my prior posts in the vein of “Nuke it from orbit - it’s the only way to be sure”. The last thing I’m interested in with respect to Islam is collateral damage.
But Obama will kill Americans without a trial.
“I dont disagree. Perhaps you havent seen some of my prior posts in the vein of Nuke it from orbit - its the only way to be sure. The last thing Im interested in with respect to Islam is collateral damage.”
Well, as I said in my post, you have about a Billion followers around the world. Most are non violent at this moment but starting a true genocide would make them all very violent.
Collateral damage would hit every corner of the globe.
IMO, attacking at this point is more likely to bring the world to a “mad max” state than basically waiting, guarding and hoping for assimilation.
It is too incredibly easy for someone to sabotage or cause trouble in our society when they feel threatened. Having a billion Muslims with their back against the wall would not result in good things...
