That's a lot to give up for a bud or blunt. Good headline for dads to show their teen age boys.

early puberty, teenage boys? Doesn’t match. Wouldn’t early puberty be pre-teen?
I’m anti-pot but I find this pretty difficult to believe.
A lot of really young kids would have to be using MJ pretty regular to have early puberty.
That made me laugh, but it is so true. I made a comment about marijuana not long ago (against legalization) and I think that some tokers lost what little is left of their minds. (I’m joking).
It makes people stupid too.

I more shocked by the fact that any kid that young is smoking pot to even know that this is what happens!
Study was conducted in Europe.
I am now middle-aged, and attended high-school during the Cheech and Chong era of the 1970’s.
I was one of perhaps a dozen guys in the entire school who never inhaled. I went to college and am gainfully employed.
Many of my classmates who sat around tokin’ all the time dropped out after a brief time in college, and are now working as fifty-something cab drivers and dishwashers.

The poster of this article refers to Drudge, but actually posted the original article. In a bit of sensationalism, they chose not to post the revenant paragraphs of the article.

Scientists at the Pir Mehr Ali Shah Agriculture University Rawalpindi in Pakistan studied the levels of certain hormones involved in growth and puberty in the blood of 220 non-smoking and 217 cannabis-addicted boys.”
This is from freaking Pakistan. Do you really believe this country would study this without some bias. I note that the weed smoker are referred to as “cannabis-addicted boys”.
I would suspect that there many other factors that may affect those two populations puberty and growth rates.
Wow. That’s all I can say.
