They and other charities need to do this on a much larger scale.

Couldn’t find any reference to an audit process. How does one know that all processed donations are included in the published tally?
So it appears that one’s donation goes directly to gofundme who then takes 8% and then passes the rest at some future unspecified time to donation receipient.
Nice racket they got 8% plus the float.

They take 5% immediately on accepting the payment. The donee pays an additional 3% service charge when requesting payment which has a five to seven day float.
So gofundme gets a total of 8% of the donations.
You have to drill down to find the three percent service fee.
The average “truly American” citizen has no clue what is going on. Goodbye America . . .I think many of the young people today would sell their “parents and grandparents for a nickel” . . . . not to mention what they would do for a smartphone.
