NE. According to Albuquerque police, Michael Edward Tyner was caught Monday trying to break into a home in the 1400 block of Adam. He then fled on foot and entered a house for sale at 1412 Jefferson. APD says he was seen with a knife in his hand at the time. Tyner, originally from South Carolina, had been released from the Metropolitan Detention Center on burglary and arson charged on Jan. 27. Last February, he was arrested on separate charges after breaking into another Albuquerque home and setting it on fire. An APD spokesperson said Tyner will face new burglary charges after Monday's situation. No one was injured in the standoff.

Facial tattoos = “I will NEVER get a W-2”
Wild, Wild West?
Maybe not since in most jurisdictions, Michael Edward Tyner with his cute permanent facial makeup would as dead as Marley’s Ghost.
I guess burglary and arson aren't enough to keep him locked up. Who do they keep in jail these days?
If SWAT was there and he was a known felon caught in the midst of yet another crime, why is this p.o.s. even alive? Doesn’t SWAT have anyone who can add a “piercing” to his collection of facial mutilations?
Yeah, less than a week “out” and he is back at his same old vocation.
No, apparently APD only provides that kind of service for the homeless who are obeying commands. Criminals who enable them to roll out in full tacti-cool swat gear they like, so they let them revolving door so the can play.
And we have another SWAT situation on Central (old Route 66) this morning (2/3/15). It’s not been a good start to the new year.
A good investigative reporter would dig up the names of the people who let him go, and check out how often these people have made these mistakes.
Stuff like this will continue until those people who work in the shadows - judges and parole boards - are outed each time a travesty like this committed. Those who are elected are thrown out, those who are appointed have their elected sponsors thrown out.
Ah, perchance to dream.
