Oprah on Recent Protests: 'I'm Looking For Leadership'

Oprah Winfrey has been watching the protests in Ferguson and New York like everyone else.

"I think it's wonderful to march and to protest and it's wonderful to see all across the country, people doing it," she tells PEOPLE exclusively.

But it's not enough to march, says Winfrey.

"What I'm looking for is some kind of leadership to come out of this to say, 'This is what we want. This is what has to change, and these are the steps that we need to take to make these changes, and this is what we're willing to do to get it.'"

David Oyelowo, who plays Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in the film Selma adds, "And you saw that in the way black and white, young and old, came together to say, 'This is not okay.'"(continued)

Now, Oprah has about three billion bucks and is supposedly in the know about what's going on. Surely, she must be aware that the overwhelmingly majority of blacks killed by cops are justified. And she must also be aware that six or seven thousand black males are shot and killed by other black males every year.

But she, like other liberal blacks with power, persist in the thoroughly crazy notion that white police are slaughtering black males by the thousands daily across the country.

Why is it so difficult to get through to these blockheads what the real problem is?...out of control, feral, black males who have been terrorizing communities for more than half a century.

They've hit the streets in NYC. Wed morning a smartly dressed young black man on the train stood up and started bellowing about how "we" are kings and queens, and "they" are the criminals, and it was time to rise up and blah blah blah.

He was eventually drowned out by a family of Russians trying to figure out which stop to get off at.

pulling riff-raff together and saying, Just Go for it. Yea, leadership would be
great because somebody would be held accountable for the Riots besides the Rioters.
