Vladimir Putin: Person of the Year in U.S. Gay Magazine
By Julio Severo
The Advocate, the oldest homosexual magazine in the U.S., has sarcastically announced that its 2014 Person of the Year is Vladimir Putin, seen by Patheos, an American atheist website, as the horrifically homophobic president of Russia and a committed opponent of all things pro-LGBT.
The magazine cover even illustrates the Russian president as Adolf Hitler.
The Advocate got a lot of attention last year when it made Pope Francis its Person of the Year because of his less conservative comments on homosexual issues. In no way the homosexual magazine treated sarcastically the Pope.
This year, the magazine had other pro-sodomy candidates, especially Apple CEO Tim Cook, who came out as a homosexual recently. Instead of pro-sodomy personalities, The Advocate wanted as its Person of the Year a leader opposed to the gay agenda. The Russian president became the single greatest threat to LGBTs in the world in 2014, the magazine proclaimed.
Putin is one of the most despicable creatures on the face of the earth, said another American homosexual magazine, Queerty.
The Advocate blasted the Russian president by saying that the source for his anti-sodomy crusade is his experience as a KGB officer. It says, Since winning a third term in 2012, Putin has become ever more autocratic, and his antigay ideology ever more extreme. In June 2013, he signed the infamous antigay propaganda bill that criminalizes the distribution of information
aimed at the formation among minors of nontraditional sexual attitudes, with nontraditional meaning anything other than heterosexual. Individual violators are fined anywhere between $120 and $150, while NGOs and corporations can incur fines as high as $30,000.
According to Pew Researchs 2014 Global Attitudes Project, 72% of Russians think homosexuality is morally unacceptable. This shows also the increasing power of the Russian Orthodox Church, which between 1991 and 2008 saw the number of adults calling themselves Orthodox Christians increase from 31% to 72%. In July 2013, Patriarch Kirill I, leader of the church, called homosexual marriage a very dangerous sign of the apocalypse, a sentiment that appeals also to other Christians and conservatives around the world.
U.S. and European outrage at the Russian law flared in the months before and during the Sochi Olympics.
While Decision magazine, a publication of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, praised the Russian law under fire, even Google felt free to mock Russians by putting homosexual symbols in its website to directly confront Russia during Sochi Olympics. Its mockery was aimed at the Russian law banning gay propaganda to children.
Google has made a clear and unequivocal statement that Russias anti-LGBT discrimination is indefensible, said Human Rights Campaign President Chad Griffin, whose Washington-based gay group has been lobbying American corporations to condemn the Russian law (whose punishment is fines, not death) signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Can you visualize a similar campaign against the Saudis, who do not fine, but kill homosexuals?
The US government also mocked Russians. Obama did not go to Sochi and made sure that the world understood his decision: he sent prominent gay athletes to Sochi. He showed no interest in Russian children and their well-being and protection. His only worry was to show support to the gay agenda. In fact, this is the top priority of his foreign policy. Homosexuality first, children later
After Sochi came the perfect conflict, engendered (also by U.S. and EU geopolitical interests) to keep the anti-Russian hatred, but with a different reason: Ukraine. Before the Ukrainian crisis, the reason for the hatred was the anti-sodomy law in Russia. After the crisis, the reason for the hatred was masked.
Interestingly, Saudi Arabia, the greatest Islamic ally of the U.S., is a notorious torturer and killer of homosexuals. According to William Murray, Saudi Arabia is also a funding center of Islamic terror in the world.
If the U.S. government and media are worried about homosexuals being tortured and killed, why are not they punishing Saudi Arabia?
If the U.S. government and media are worried about Islamic terror being funded around the world, why are not they punishing Saudi Arabia?
To portray Putin as Hitler is an unfounded and classical misrepresentation homosexual militants use against anyone who dares to oppose their tyrannical agenda.
According to The Pink Swastika, Hitlers German military elite was homosexual. A German book by Lothar Machtan says that Hitler himself was homosexual. Under him, homosexual military sadists were protected.
Mein Kampf, Hitlers biography, is not a bestseller in Russia. But it is a bestseller in Muslim nations, including in another ally of the U.S., Turkey.
Turkey does not need a law banning homosexual propaganda, because they already kill homosexuals. Would the U.S. government be happy about an American homosexual magazine portraying Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan as Hitler?
For friends, everything, including immunity. For enemies, nothing?
What about The Advocate moving their headquarters to Saudi Arabia or Turkey to experience fresh air of free speech?
What about The Advocate portraying homosexual-killing Islamic leaders in Saudi Arabia and Turkey as Nazi? Probably they would not be displeased at being depicted as Hitlers fans. But I am not sure if they would be pleased at attacks by homosexuals.
The Advocate is very lucky that Putin is not a ruler in Saudi Arabia or Turkey.
And Western nations are unlucky that they have no conservative political leader better than Putin.

It's funny how pictured alone, I don't think people notice how gay Putin looks when he does that shirtless posing on horses, but put next to a true horse rider, he sure looks about as metrosexual as one can.
Have people ever noticed how this guy who hunts, fishes, goes horseback riding, does everything outdoors, and does it hatless and shirtless, never shows any effects from sun exposure, or gets his clothes wrinkled or dirty?
Reagan used to go outdoors also, and it showed.
