We should be concerned when reading Y. Kerry Saras essay of being raised as a young black girl under hard Leftist -- and black American Muslim -- ideology. Our Presidents mother worked hard to raise him with similar ideas and we must wonder how much of the hatred for everything that America stands for that his mentors held has touched his soul -- and affected his policies as well as how he regards the body of the American people.
The Left -- and particularly the Party of Jim Crow -- has a lot to answer for in their inter-generational pursuit of making blacks and other minorities utterly dependent upon them. Too many have been successfully indoctrinated into regarding freedom as something that only benefits the rich and that those who would advocate for lower taxes and smaller government are by definition racist -- and therefore fair game.
Part of this pursuit is to remove the fathers from black children, replace them with white female Leftist social workers and then raise them to think that they are born Victims and therefore entitled to do unto others who are born Oppressors. Then, all of their failures in life and any anti-social behaviors they may perpetrate can be blamed on others.
Consequently, we have the spectacle of someone so raised straddling another man and bashing his head into concrete for presuming to watch him case houses for burglary. In another atrocity, we have a huge young man becoming outraged when a store clerk dares to follow him after being robbed, so he grabs the much-smaller mans throat. Obviously, he was accustomed to taking and doing whatever he damned well pleased. Then his outrage turns to violence when a policeman dares to try to stop him and then goes on to chase him after having his face bashed in, so he charges at the officer.
Subsequently, we had riots in the streets when each of these youngsters -- who were obviously raised w/o limitations or consequences -- are killed by their intended victims. That simply is not supposed to happen under this climate of Victimhood and Entitlement. Then when a blood sacrifice is not offered to the mob, and evidence rather than race is used to determine guilt, those who are merely the wrong color in the wrong place at the wrong time -- and small and/or weak -- are targeted for vicious, random, racially motivated attacks.
So it should be no surprise that some bombarded from birth with this mentality take up arms against their own country and embrace a bestial political ideology masquerading as religion that grants license to satisfy their basest of urges -- at the expense of the elderly, disabled, women and even children.
Great evil is permitted when one is raised to think that others are fair game just because of what group they were born into.
And yet the Left continues to tell us that true evil is in judging the perpetrators and calling them out for what they do. The only thing, therefore that is surprising, is that more are not joining their compatriots abroad and at home in shedding blood to impose their nihilistic and evil plans for humanity.

True, Great Read! Thank You! We wait as they attempt to settle settled science with lies but we wait because we will not attack them first nor declare war on them first. The Left and their minion have declared war on each God Fearing, Freedom Loving American. We wait but not for long will we wait. We Live In Love. We must never live in hate. Hate will destroy us. We know so we wait. LOL ... Living on Love!
A bridge too far. You can call the Jim Crow Boys many things, and I often do, but they weren't racists.
Their closest parallel in the European Right to Left spectrum of politics most commonly used, which doesn't really fit American politics well, is the old time blood and soil Right, which was one of the ideologies that went into forming that weird mishmash, fascism and national socialism.
One correction, we are now supporting the 4th generation of welfare queens.
“You can call the Jim Crow Boys many things, and I often do, but they weren’t racists.”
The Democrat Party has always held that blacks cannot manage their lives w/o help from the White Man.
The Republican Party [the Party of Abraham Lincoln] has always held that the law should apply equally regardless of race and that everyone should be empowered to see to their own needs.
Would that the fruit be rotten.
The fruit is toxic.
Wow. Just realized I made a really serious mistaken in the earlier post.
Meant to say the Jim Crow boys weren’t Leftists. They very obviously were racists.
Mea culpa.
I agree one wing of the Democrat Party was as you describe, but not the other main wing. It is, in my opinion very unfortunately, also true that for most Republicans after the period of Reconstruction, not a major goal to enforce equal treatment by race under the law.
This is terribly unfortunate because this was the sole issue of the 20th century on which leftists were indisputably on the right moral side, while (most) conservatives were at best not terribly concerned about the issue. They have built their entire edifice of assumed moral superiority on this issue ever since.
Black Americans have been taught by self-serving leftists that because there was once slavery in parts of the U.S., there is no such thing as liberty.
The truth is, Progressive Leftists are opposed to individual liberty as defined in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. The only real complaint they have about chattel slavery in America two hundred years ago is that the slaves were privately owned.
But they get orgasmic over the idea of slavery to the state.
Democrats never pass up on opportunity to tell us why enslavement by the state is for our own protection and our own safety, because life under the anarchy that conservatives want to impose is just too risky and dangerous. We can't have any of that inhumane "on-your-own economics" that conservatives advocate.
Thereby proving that you no longer have to be black to be an Uncle Tom.
“The only real complaint they have about chattel slavery in America two hundred years ago is that the slaves were privately owned.
But they get orgasmic over the idea of slavery to the state.”
Leftists, when confronted with complaints of ever-growing government are fond of responding that, “we are the government.” The way it was previously put was “the State is the people and the people are the State,” so the more power the government has, the more empowered the people are. They firmly believe that private property should only be tolerated so long as it serves the State.
The name for that collectivist ideology is fascism.
I agree one wing of the Democrat Party was as you describe, but not the other main wing.
From my essay about the evolution of Leftist elitism:
“...Slave-holders in the Antebellum South echoed their Aristocratic forebears in believing that they were doing black slaves a service by managing their lives and making their physical abilities productive. Otherwise, they would be living the short, brutish lives of savages. This idea is carried forth to this day as the Party of Jim Crow still holds that blacks and other minorities cannot take care of themselves w/o help from whites [and minorities who have been properly vetted] who are are smarter and know better. The idea that minorities could be empowered to see to their own personal and economic security is viewed with a combination of fear and derision by the Left.”
This is terribly unfortunate because this was the sole issue of the 20th century on which leftists were indisputably on the right moral side, while (most) conservatives were at best not terribly concerned about the issue. They have built their entire edifice of assumed moral superiority on this issue ever since.”
They seem to be too embarrassed to explicitly say that they stand for freedom and their opponents stand for tyranny, settling instead to emulate an European Conservative Party and run on being more efficient to manage a social welfare state.
They have allowed the Left to sell the American people [particularly minorities] on the idea that freedom is old-fashioned, while tyranny is cutting edge and innovative.
