First they showed us the melting ice caps. But we just said: "Yeah. It's what ice does in summer."
Then they showed us the drowning polar bears. But we just said: "Proves nothing. And anyway the polar bear population has increased fivefold in 50 years, which hardly sounds like a species under threat."
Then they showed us the Hockey Stick. But we just laughed and made amusing videos about Michael Mann.
But then, they showed us their ultimate weapon: grainy, arty, black and white portraits of climate scientists with concerned expressions on their faces.
It was then that we knew our cause was lost.

LOL. Are they having a fire sale?
That’s classic! Munch was clearly ahead of his time.
Reminds me of the photo of the guys playing table soccer on a chunk of ice recently. On Lake Superior. In July!
That somebody might believe these yayhoos!
Australia is ground central for the climate alarm industry. Used to be mostly European but Australia took over as the champion after they elected socialists who actually implemented the electricity rate increases, etc. Needless to say the Australian population woke up from their stupor long enough to vote the bastards out. Hence the expressions of sadness are real, but not about the science, just the politics.
Flannery, the saddest looking picture, was/is the biggest liar of them all. He was promoted under the socialists to a high level position and he was directly responsible for devastating floods by keeping the dams full when they should have been (and normally were) emptied. He is a dangerous freak. The new government fired him from his $180k part time gig but he's still a full time professor I believe.
This is Flannery in happier times when the socialists were in power:
TEmporarily, see my previous post. The problem is they will need eternal vigilance against these freaks, but that probably won't happen down under.
Reminds me of that weird black and white photo series of Valerie Plame and her circus barker of a husband, who were so terribly, terribly upset at the life-threatening “outing” they’d experienced. Just devastated I tells ya, poor Val was in full swoon. There was a funny, captioned sendup posted here, Jochka? Something like that.

Concerned about their jobs...
These so-called ‘scientists’ are different forms of ‘ecologist’. It would be as if a groups of ‘Unicornologist’ were concerned people didn’t believe in Unicorns. And the damage unicorns could do... a variation on circular reasoning
I glanced at the pictures, seema the only real scientist in the group was an Oceanographer.
