FERGUSON, MO (KTVI) – Rev. Al Sharpton speaks at the Greater St. Marks Family Church in Ferguson. Missouri Attorney General Chris Koster is in attendance and gave the opening speech.
Koster said, “You have lost a member of your community at the hands of one of my community. Not just the Caucasian community. The law enforcement community.”
Sharpton tells reporters before the speech that he is not a “drive-by” activist and plans to be in Ferguson until the Michael Brown case is resolved. He is critical of release of surveillance video allegedly showing Michael Brown stealing cigars. During the speech he says that the the Chief was trying to smear Michael Brown’s name before he was buried.
Sharpton goes on to say there needs to be equal justice for everyone. But, “Looting is wrong. There is a difference between an activist and a thug.”
Anthony Gray, a local attorney for Michael Brown’s family, tells Fox 2 he supports curfew to help maintain peace and order.
Sharpton is also the keynote speaker at a unity rally with Michael Brown’s family this afternoon at 3pm at Greater Grace Church also in Ferguson. We will carry the video live on the website Sunday afternoon.

Brown may or may not have needed killin' that day, but it seems to have been largely the result (culmanation) of mostly his (poor) choices.
One’s trajectory in life is largely due to a multitude of personal decisions, large and small, made over decades.
Apparently all the looters etc are from out of town, no bad guys living in Ferguson according to MO State Senator..LOL
However I guess then that Big Mike is the lone exception to that, I believe he was from Ferguson. You know he`s the guy that robbed the store and bullied the clerk...BTW was the first time this Big Mike ever bullied anybody. Clear to see from the video that he had never done anything like this before, was very clear the way he came back again to stand over the clerk...first timer absolutely
I'd suggest that the preponderance of the evidence seems to indicates that Brown was the latter.
Get all the race baiters in the same place , get them all in a group in public, and .............

The peeps do seem to have embraced the New Black Panthers and Van Jones’ Community organizers and DOJ “community relations” operatives with open arms
You’ve got people on the verge of riots, the boys family and friends are touting what a good boy he was. There are witnesses that might be lying as to the way it went down.
The convenience store video needed to be released to let the community (and the world) know the other way it might have gone down.
The video enlightens us to what this man did minutes before the confrontation with the police officer. This man might have acted aggressively towards the police officer and could have possibly gone for his gun.
If the family would like to show other videos of this man in positive manner, then go for it. Do any videos like that even exist?
I’ll watch those too.

Rev. Al will stay until he’s milked all the money he can our of Furgeson and the media have lost interest.
There’s a protest in LA at 3 PM today over the similar Ezell Ford killing. If it turns into rioting and looting (hey, why let a money-making opportunity go to waste?) — Rev. Al will be on the first plane to collect his “fair share.”
I have a suspicion the DOJ has some experts right now doctoring videos. The perp who assaulted officer Wilson will soon be shown in grainy footage delivering Christmas gifts to the poor, feeding the homeless, and teaching the downtrodden at a local mosque, er, church.
He was taking those cigars to give to homeless men at the shelter. The store owner forgot to tell the clerk that St. Mike could have them to support the homeless. St. Mike was just helping the clerk so that he would not get hit by the swinging door.
