You say you want his impeachment
Well, you know
We all want to replace the man
You tell me that its a solution
Well, you know
We all want to replace the man
Cause when you talk about destruction
Dont you know thats what hes a-bout
I dont know if its gonna be alright
Alright, not right
You say theres no other solution
Well, you know
Boehners got a suing plan
The DNC wants a contribution
Well, you know
They know how to run a scam
But if you want money from people with minds that hate
All I can tell you brother is feed them bait
I dont know if its gonna be alright
Alright, not right
You say hes ignoring the constitution
Well, you know
Hes a dictator in his head
You think its redistribution
Well, you know
Think income inequality instead
But if the White House is embracing terrorists
America may be ^%$#ed anyhow
And I dont know if its gonna be alright
Alright, not right
Alright, not right
Alright, not right
Alright, not right
Alright, not right
This one doesn't.
Wonder if the parody writer actually bothered to sing it to the music.
Thanks, MaceM. I actually did imagine singing it to the music but I am not any kind of musician...just a wannabe. In the end though, for me, it’s more about the message than whether or not I have all the scans right.
It is a good song; thanks.
You don’t have to be a musician to write a parody, though perhaps an ear for poetry might be helpful.
If you’d like to improve your skills, you might want to listen to pros like Paul Shanklin and Weird Al Yankovic.
Thanks for the tip, MaceM. I am familiar with the work of those guys but I think I’d leave this stuff to the pros.
You don’t need to be a pro to write parodies that scan properly. Honest.
Maybe you need production skills if you want to do them professionally on audio or video, but that’s a whole other thing.
