CHRISTIANS should be encouraged to marry Muslims as a way of tackling Islamophobia, a senior peer claimed today.
Lord Scott, a former Supreme Court Judge, cited his own family - in which two of his four children married Muslims - as an example of how interfaith families can thrive.
The peer, who sits as a crossbencher in the Lords, made the comments during a debate on how to improve relations between the Muslim community and other faith groups in the UK.
He said: “Of my two sons one has become a Muslim and of my two daughters one of those has become a Muslim, and I have 12 lovely grandchildren, seven of whom are little Muslims.
He added: “The family relationships since those events took place have been as happily familial, as close and as good as any parent or grandparent could wish.
“I do just wonder that if an improvement is needed between the faith groups, one way of promoting that might be to encourage interfaith marriages.”
Responding for the Government, Baroness Warsi said: “It’s important that we allow people to marry somebody of their choosing whatever faith they belong to, and that’s why I’m incredibly proud that the Government has done so much work on the issue of forced marriages, including criminalising a practice which should have been criminalised a long time ago.”
A former neighbor of mine was a senior non-commissioned officer in the Air Force and spent a lot of time in Islamic countries. He said several times he was offered high six-figures to low seven-figures to convert to Islam. Can you imagine what they’d offer to the children of a high-ranking jurist and politician in Britain?
All too often we find that “judges” are not the best judges.
It has other meanings,such as “ bipartisan” , with Crossbench committees, etc.
But to ‘be’ Crossbench is either as stated or having the whip withdrawn...party membership suspended for having an opinion.

if his family embraces “interfaith” marriage, where are the muslims who became Christians? What part of the happy couples still practices “inter” faith?
They refuse to acknowlege that there's a difference between Muslims and Islamists, immigrants and ILLEGAL immigrants (aliens).
(Yes I know some say all Muslims are Islamists.. my direct, personal experience says otherwise. Same goes for Christians.. they are not all white supremacist Christian Identity advocates. And yes I know that white supremacist Christian Identity advocates do not fly airliners into buildings and delight in cutting off heads as Islamists do.)
So do-gooders say the evidence is in, all experts agree, deniers be damned.. if you oppose murderous, insane Islamists you're a Islamophobe. If you oppose millions of people ILLEGALLY taking up residence here, shoving aside people seeking legal immigration respecting our Country you're a xenophobe. (I've sponsored immigrants.)

I got one better: how about Muslims not kill Christians as a way of battling Christophobia.
Islamophobia is not the problem! ISLAM is the problem!
They clearly had lost their faith already. What true Christian would sacrifice something so precious.

Christians should KILL Mohammedans to solve the problem of the Mohammedans MURDERING Christians.
Understand that there is a difference between KILLING and MURDERING.
