Hard to pick a winner. It’s like they designed a car from what they had in the parts bin.

It’s just another mid-year, built on Friday, ‘union’ supported General Motors - Moscow plant vehicle!

That Moskovicj 408 would be a flat awesome hot rod done up as a Pro street/Gasser.

That ZAZ 689 looks like they copied a koda 100.
Of course, koda's nowadays are pretty nice cars.

Skoda 100 probably better than the Soviet copy even back then, I would think
And Tatra certainly outdid anything the Russians ever put on the road

That 408 is actually a nice looking car. Wikipedia says it was a concept car 1964 aluminum body, removable hardtop and electronic fuel injection. Don’t know anything about it. It could have been pretty hot for its day. Some of the others are weird, but we had the Pontiac Aztek, almost everything AMC made, and a few other slightly off cars and trucks.
The ZiL 4906 or 49061 is amphibious.

Looks like an adaptation for extreme cold conditions.

My dad had a 408 sedan back to earlier 1980s, wife’s grand daddy kept an 2141 (liftback version of 2142 pictured at link) from late 1980s into earlier 2000s.

My wife is Czech. Her mother and father had to put down 15,000 krone and wait 5 years for a Skoda. They abandoned everything they owned and fled in 1968 to Germany.
She fumes every day about Obama because she’s seen it all before.

So it’s official: The Aztec was designed by a former Soviet automobile engineer.

The episode of BBC Top Gear where they test drive a number of old Soviet vehicles is hilarious.

Beat hard with an ugly stick: IZH 2125 Both of the IZH 2125s could have been sold by AMC.

(The IRS: either criminally irresponsible in backup procedures or criminally responsible of coverup.)
