OK, it's primary day...we're all nervously awaiting the results of several key races..so until the polls close, I thought we could kill a little time thinking ahead..while we digest Marco Rubio's announcement that he's thinking about running..
Scott Walker, Secretary of Labor
Ditch Rand. Otherwise doable.
I could get behind a Cruz/West alliance.
Even though I’m Canadian, I still called West’s office after they rezoned and did some crap to him to let them know that he’s doing a great job and to please not give up fighting for the real Americans and speaking the truth about Islam among other things.
What Johnny said.
So basically anyone that sounds like Calvin Coolidge.
> Good choice regarding Rep. Goudy. In a Cruz administration Id like to see Dr. Carson as our Surgeon General, Sarah Palin as Secretary of the Interior, and John Boehner as the Head Waiter at the house cafeteria because its about time he actually serves people rather than serving himself.
Boehner serves himself alcohol daily...
well a good Troll for the bridges...
Dr Ben Carson, Surgeon General
Mike Pence.

We need Ted to try and fix some of the massive damage that's been done to our nation by the Marxists.
We need Captain Obvios to explain it all to the low information voters -in terms they can understand.
Ex: Was talking with a friend of mine, who leans pretty far left- asked if she thought it would be a good idea to have someone- who had never even met her- control her bank account- i.e. they decide how much money she can have to spend on herself and her family, then take whatever is left of the money she earned, and give it to someone else? She said that was a bad idea and she wouldn't do it. But I said to her-when you hear politicians talk about fixing "income equality" , " taking from the 1%" exc... this is what they really mean. They want you to give them the power to control you and everyone else.
If you vote to give politicians power to take anything from somone else- you have given them the power to take from you as well. The Constitution was written to protect the people from power hungry politicians,.
She did agree that politicians should not have too much power so it's a start.
But back to the question: Cruz and Lee were great on the back and forth between them during the health care filibuster- Also like the good doctor (Carson ) as a VP choice if Ted Cruz runs for Prez.
He's really well-liked, he knows how to campaign, he'd bring in huge conservative AND moderate votes including latinos, he can raise money, every time he's on TV I find myself agreeing with his positions (and I'm a tough sell), Cruz can work with him and depend on him, and, importantly, Rudy is media and campaign savvy.
And for heaven's sake, folks, please get real and forget little-house-on-the-prairie gentle Dr. Ben.
A wonderful guy with a smooth, earnest tongue, but no history, no money, no political experience, no national party following, no nothing, plus the personality and charisma of your sweet, placid pet turtle.
What the heck is making so many people drop his name in this discussion? Is it because many freepers are great conservatives, but political babes-in-the-woods when it comes to inside, hard-ball, vote-getting, big league politics when putting a WINNING ticket together?
Leni
Sarah Palin would be my first choice, but have no problem with Allen West. Those two, if only for their support of the 2nd Amendment.
Trey Gowdy would be great, but he’s needed more in the Congress.
LOL,
I guess if you asked who we want as a running mate for Christie, Bush or Ryan it wouldnt have gone over well here.

Bingo. Dr.gentle Ben is a political novice and naive, with his can’t we all be friends attitude towards politics. No, we can’t all just be friends anymore. This is war against Dems time. Get someone in the top positions as candidates for President and VP who have already had their feet held to the fire, and know how to play political hardball. Dr. Ben is another Herman Cain, a dilettante politically, totally untested in battle.
Did you get an e-mail from me Sunday, June 1, subject: ‘A chicken in every pot’?
Trey Gowdy is my pick.
