[Video] 8 Year Old Schoolboy Reprimanded For Thinking a Cloud Looked Like a Gun During Assignment May 22 2014 by Dan Cannon Share This Post
So I think were officially to the point where our public schools are punishing children for their imagination.
According to KKTV,
Second grader Kody Smith was assigned to go outside, look at the clouds, and then use his imagination to draw what he saw.
Draw a picture of what you see in the clouds from your imagination and that picture is a gun, explained 8-year-old Kody.
Because it was a gun, the teacher at Talbott Elementary in Widefield called him into the office, and then filed a behavior report. His parents say thats too much.
So this kid is punished because he didnt see an elephant or a unicorn or whatever else the school *thought* he should see when he looked at some clouds? Really?
This is just the latest example of the zero tolerance hysteria which has swept our nations schools.
Check out our article, The Plan to Disarm America Within Two Generations is Happening RIGHT NOW for more details on how these school policies will be the downfall of the Second Amendment.
"Student in trouble over school assignment"
Time to take the kid out of public school. He’s been punished enough by these idiots by merely attending.
This is thought control through aversion.
Dad, get a haircut and be a good example.
“you didnt see that” You DIDNT SEE a GUN”
“DO YOU UNDERSTAND THAT...”?
What a wonderful way to warp a child’s mind.
I saw a cloud the other day that looked like Barack Obama holding a gun...
Have Conservatives Lost Colorado for Good, and Will America Follow?
Mar. 21, 2013 10:58pm Mytheos Holt
Colorado has been at the epicenter of major political controversy pretty much since the national election, and has recently witnessed a string of progressive victories. But does that mean the centennial state is permanently in the bag for Democrats? Thats the argument that Salon columnist David Sirota makes today, claiming that Colorado is a case study in How to Turn a State Liberal, with nine reasons why. We decided to take a look at each of his arguments individually and see how much reason conservatives have to be worried.
If people keep sending their kids to public school, after knowing what their kids are being taught, they deserve what they’re getting. All these “Millennials” who don’t know Bengahzi from Ben Affleck, parents fault for letting the government raise them.
Oh boy did I ever laugh over that one!
Really?
The fact that he has reacted to this creeping fascist bullshit from the propagandist (re)educators is enough of a good example for me.
I'm not looking to pick a fight with you, but I learned not to judge by appearances about 50 years ago.
I personally feel the same way about the Dad’s hair and general appearance, but he should have the right to grow his hair the way he wants to. While the story details how the school attempted to squash his little son’s imagination, I hate to attempt to squash Dad’s individuality.
No offense!
He should still cut his hair.
An absolute outrage.
I’ve seen here on FR people say that sending your kids to public schools is tantamount to child abuse. Clearly, this is a case in point.
Most “educators” are such fools. They appear to hate Freedom and love thought control. My only thought is why did they get hired to be “educators” when they are such moronic degenerates. The “educators” are guilty of child abuse and should be arrested.
but I learned not to judge by appearances about 50 years “...ago.”
Thanks. I agree that the father may not meet someone’s personal appearance haircut code but he is sitting there with his son and appears to be a very concerned parent, unlike many so-called parents today.
Aaahhhh...what a beautiful, er, unicorn.
Have I thought what you wanted me to?
Public Education = Liberal Re-education Camps, ya think?
Why do I get the impression if he said he saw Karl Marx he would have been giving an A?
ahhh, a man after my own heart!! I agree!
